TOURBUS: For all those who have never seen you, what is Schnauzer?
STEVE: SCHNAUZER is an old school Parma band that’s been together for 9 years with the same line up the whole way through. We have 2 CDs out, 5 7" EP records, a split 10" record and a bunch of live show videos. We're total asshole's:)
TOURBUS: Describe a Schnauzer show, tho rumor has it each has its own uniqueness!
STEVE: Our fans/friends make the show what it is. We bring things to our shows and then all hell breaks loose. If you haven’t seen us yet and you come to one of our shows plan on seeing teddy bears being thrown and killed, weight benches and weights being lifted, pie fights, beach balls, bed mattresses being thrown, hool-a-hoops, 6 foot penises, glam metal outfits with death metal vocals. Plan on seeing ALOT of freaks being freaks. Its a freak show to say the least.
TOURBUS: Any plans coming up in the immediate future?
STEVE: Yes, we have a new 7" in the making with this other Cleveland band called FISTULA. May be out later this year in July (we hope). And yes we'll be playing a show or 2 in the meantime. We have 2 new videos out as well and a new one in the making.
TOURBUS: You have a side project called Pile of Eggs. Tell us a little about it.
STEVE: PILE OF EGGS is just a fun thing to do for fun. We have no musical style and no stable line up. That’s what makes it fun. I have put out 20 home made demos with this band and have put out a "best of CD" called "The Egg Files" and its sold out of 1000 copies. Nothing new is in the making with this band at this time. It’s still there and will never be able to go away. Its about fun. It’s not about doing shows, record deals or making money. It’s just about friends who like getting together for shits n' giggles.
TOURBUS: If you could open for anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
STEVE: I’d love to open up for SLAYER. I know we would go over very, very well.
TOURBUS: What’s in your CD player right now?
STEVE: C.C.R, after that I'll be jamming to some FU MANCHU, then some TERRORIZER or maybe the MENTORS.
TOURBUS: What was Schnauzer’s greatest act of destruction in the last year?
STEVE: Our greatest act of destruction was when we played at THE PIT on 5/5/2001. We have 4 different videos of this show but you still cant see everything that went down on that sick night. How no one got hurt or KILLED is a miracle??
TOURBUS: Anything else you would like to add?
