After back-to-back Blue Oyster Cult concerts and a half day behind the wheel, Sunday was scheduled to be a day to relax and spend time with Kerry and Caroline. Kerry and I decided to BBQ but we never did. Caroline did all the BBQin' while we relaxed, caught up on story telling, and kranked some AC/DC. We were treated to a great variety of food and I somehow avoided the "meat coma". What a wonderful hostess, I enjoyed the day chillin' even though it got warm outside.
Then later we watched the new Walking Dead episode. It was fun to discuss the show and where we thought the storyline might go with only a few episodes left. That's my favorite show right now. I need to figure how to watch the next two on the road. So zero miles were traveled today but that was the plan. Spending time with my friends has been a great way to start my journey. |
