A Word From Seshat
I believe this should be said, before I Loved You goes any further. I am fed up with the nonexistent Backstreet vs. NSYNC rivalry. No matter where you look, magazines, tv, even online. It's everywhere, Backstreet vs. NSYNC. What a crock!!
Once and for all. THERE IS NO RIVALRY!! Do they slam on eachother? NO!! Why? Because they are friends. Of course there are friendly jests, but no harsh words. What about all the pics that have recently popped up. of at least Nick, with members from the so called "rival" group. The Boys themselves have many times said that they are friends and there is no rivalry.
So where does the rivalry come from? The fans. Those who claim you can only like one of the two groups. I disagree. I am now and forever a BSB fan. No other musician or musical group can take their place in my mind and heart. Their music is an inspiration and a stronghold when I'm down. But I do believe that NSYNC is an amazingly talented group of men. They have some great music and a style all their own.
Does this make me a traitor to the pride?? NO!!!!!
Liking NSYNC's music does not make me a bad person. It makes me a smart person. My bestfriend is an NSYNC fan and they are not as bad as some people believe. We've gotten past the fact that she always talks about NSYNC and that I'm always listening to BSB. Why can't everyone else.
With everything that has happened in the last few months, since September 11th, who in their right mind, has time or the selfishness to worry about something as trivial as the FALSE rivalry between the two.
I will warn all now. Yes, NSYNC will be in a number of writings on this site. If you cannot handle it, go somewhere else.
This is a Backstreet website. It is about love for The Boys, the music they make and the lives they live. Not hate for NSYNC.
