well, many people have been asking.Why did H.O.T break up?If you those "oldies" out there i bet you will know the reason why.Anyway for those who do know, one of the reason why H.O.T broke up is because tony, jae won and woo hyuk were not being paid as much as kang ta and hee jun.After the contract of the three ended, they did not reach an agreement with SM entertainment therefore they did not renew their contract.As for kangta and hee jun, their contract had ended much earlier than the three and thus they had sign on before this incident came out.Well, that's about all.As for the real exact reason(if there was) only H.O.T themselves would know.
