Maintaining a closeness to his best known roots... Pete Phipps continues to lead The Glitter Band - now with John Springate and Eddy Spence - into the 21st century. Appearing regularly in the UK and on the Continent to vast audiences who still go wild for those instantly recognisable sounds.

Playing those beat driven hits we all remember, including; Angel Face, Just for You, Let's Get Together Again and Goodbye My Love, as well as other storming Rock & Roll classics. The Glitter Band in 2010 has power, energy, rhythm and superb musicanship to emphasise those unforgettable songs and a line up that includes 3 orignial members of the band.

Pete Phipps - Drums and Vocals.
Pete is of course at the heart of it, providing that guiding force, both rhythmically and emotionally. Pete has been a member of the Glitter Band for over 30 years, he understands the very essence of the band and that it's popularity comes from being innovative as well as oh so familiar! The ability to add new twists to old favourites, new harmonies and arrangements that capture the spirit of the 70s but keep the band sounding fresh and the audiences coming back for more!

Using his vast experience both within the Glitter Band and also from working with over 20 other artists including The Eurythmics, Mike Rutherford (Genesis) and XTC Pete is able to play in a wide range of styles and always has the enthusiasm to try something new!

John Springate - Lead Vocals.
The Glitter Band are delighted to announce that John Springate, the voice on the Glitter Band hit recordings has returned to the band. John was a permanent fixture in The Glitter Band until his departure in the late 80s. Since then John has carved himself a successful career as a writer and producer, notably co-writing "Don't Play That Song Again", the UK Eurovision entry in 2000, with Gerry Shephard, his former colleague in The Glitter Band, who sadly passed away in 2003. John's return is thrilling news for Glitter Band fans and fans of 70s music alike.

Eddie Spence - Keyboards & Vocals.
Technically Eddy Spence is the second longest serving member of The Glitter Band. Having worked with The Leader in the 70s Eddy went on to tour with Pete, Gerry, and John right through until 1987. Having worked with an incredible array of artistes including Gordon Giltrap, Eddy has returned to the band in 2008 where his amazing keyboard skills take a starring role in The Glitter Band of today.

Dominic Rogers - Lead Guitar and Vocals.
Dominic previously played in a band called "The Limit", which performed on the circuit, locally to where he and Pete both live. The two of them regularly write music and lyrics together, which paired with Dominic's technical wizardry in the mixing studio bodes well for the future. The first single Dominic ever bought was, The Glitter Band's - Angelface, so some things are clearly just meant to be!

Marc Pearson - Rhythm Guitar & Lead Vocals.
Marc joined original The Glitter Band in 2006 as Lead Singer and Rhythm Guitarist. Marc was brought up as a glitter fan thanks to his incredibly cool Mother. Marc also performs with Pete in BC Sweet as well as playing for Gary Numan tribute band Young Things Don’t Scream. Marc also runs his own touring Burlesque Show as well as managing the day to day affairs of The Glitter Band.

Ant Rodgers - Drums & Vocals.
The tribal drum sound produced by Pete Phipps requires a powerful and forceful second drummer and Ant Rodgers performs this with a passion and professionalism that has to be admired. Ant joined The Glitter Band in 2009.
