Pete is the newest edition to the band, and thus a relative novice to this whole playing music as a group lark, having only played a couple of shows before, with bands who were... well... not great.
Born in Chichester, West Sussex, and bred in the charming seaside town *cough cough* of Bognor Regis, Pete is pretty much as Southern as you get. Pete's interests include music (you don't say!) going to gigs, skating, reading, travelling, and chilling out :)-~ Currently studying American Studies and French ('Call that a degree?' I hear you cry) Pete has had ample opportunity to persue these, but prefers to spend his days on 'down-time' (i.e. in bed), or on this damn PC (it gets to you...)
Pretty much the only interesting thing about Pete was that he used to have stunning pink hair (making him actually look a bit gay), but now even that's gone, as is the mohawk... a new 'crazy drummer' gimmick is needed...
In the absence of any band-related shinanigans to report, seeing as Pete's only been a member for a few months, let's move straight on to what he recommends you listen to/buy/go and see/worship more than sex:
GREEN DAY (everything by, about, or in any way related to), Nirvana, RADIOHEAD, Ash, Tool, Presidents of the USA, Rage Against the Machine, Rancid, Less Than Jake, Goldfinger, Reel Big Fish, Dance Hall Crashers, Tilt, Propagandhi, [spunge], Bad Religion, Wilt, R.E.M., System of a Down, NIN, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Minor Threat, Vandals, Pitchshifter, Incubus, Faith no More, Pantera, Silverchair, 1st two KoRn albums, Helloween, Metallica (up to and inc. the black album), Megadeth (except for recent shite), Iron Maiden, SUBLIME, Beastie Boys, WEEZER, Decendants, Foo Fighters, Blur, early Manics, Joy Division, Mudhoney, Pixies, NOFX, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Marilyn Manson, Pulp, Ramones, Deftones, etc...
If all else fails, Pete strongly suggests that you just purchase everything ever recorded by Green Day. That should fulfill the majority or your musical needs :)
Final words: Listen to punk. And metal. Make sure you rock. Support underground bands. Phat. (Mal adds: Wait! You forgot to say Bitch-ass!)

P.S. Don't buy those Chuck Taylor Converse you see everyone wearing - they fall apart right away :(
