*My main interests are finding a good job in broadcasting and eventually owning a small independant radio station.
Current Objective
My main objective right now is to successfully complete college with a major in Telecommunications and a minor in Journalism as well as in French. After which I hope to obtain a job with either a radio or television station.
I graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School (Akron,IN) in March of 2000 with a 9.7 GPA
Attended Tippecanoe Valley Middle School (Akron,IN) for grades 6-8.
Attended Jefferson Elementary (Ft. Riley, KS) for grades 2-4.
For first grade I was enrolled at Grandview Elementary (Grandview, KS).
*I began working as a delivery girl for Greeks in mid July of this year, and am trying to keep between 20-30 hours a week while attending classes at Ball State University.
Blockbuster Video (Muncie, IN)
*I started working at the Blockbuster on McGalliard in October of 2001. In late June of 2002 I moved to the store on Tillotson and am still working there every Sunday.
Purofirst Disaster Services (Mentone, IN)
*I worked on houses that had been damaged by fire or water incidents. Specific duties included extensive cleaning, painting, and a little construction. I was at this job from May of 2001 to August of 2001. I also worked for the company during my semester break in the 2001-2002 school year.
Dairy Queen (Rochester, IN)
*I worked as a cashier and opened the store from April 2000-August 2000. I returned for more summer work from May of 2001 to August of 2001.
Scott's Food Store (Rochester, IN)
*I worked a cashier, stocker, and video clerk from July 1999-April 2000.
Walgreens (Akron, IN)
*I was a cashier and made orders for the store from March 1999-April 2000.
D&J's Restaurant (Akron, IN)
*I was a hostess, waitress, cook, and ran the pizza section from March 1998-April 1999.
*On a scale of 1-10, I would say that my computer skills are at about 7.
*I've lived in Indiana, Kansas, and Germany. I've also spent some time in Illinois, Ohio, Italy, and Austria.
*I recieved academic awards in high school for being active in sports and other organizations while maintaining excellent grades.
*I am able to speak French with almost complete fluency.
*I am very good with people and have the ability to make friends almost anyplace I go.
*I have an extreme love of technology and try to learn more about it everyday.
