Book Cover Fonts

Here you can download fonts that are found on the covers of--and that are in--books. Below are instructions on how to use & download the fonts if you have Windows.

1. Push the link to download the font.
2. Once downloaded, push "Run".
3. A file will come up in a pop-up box--double-click the file (the title of the folder might be the title of the font)
4. Minimize the file and go to your word prosser.
5. Bring up the font list, scroll down and you will see your font name, in it's own font.
6. You can use this font all you want & your printer will print anything in the new font!

Fonts:

The code-like Artemis Fowl Font - the font found on the bottom of each page in Artemis Fowl! It is called Gnommish. Here's a sample below!

A Series of Unfortunate Events font - the font used to say "A Series of Unfortunate Events" on the cover of the American books! It is called Caslon Antique. Here's a sample below!

The Harry Potter Font - the font found on the American book covers used to say "Harry Potter"! Along with the file, there is a Read-me, which will tell you how to get the font to say "Harry Potter" exactly as it is on the cover of the books! It is called Harry P. Here's a sample below!

Harry Potter chapters font - the font used for the title of each chapter in the American Harry Potter books! It is called Lumos. Use this font all in capitals to get a more true-to-the-book look!


If you like the fonts, follow these instructions to add the font to to your regular font list (you won't have to follow the instructions above once you follow the instructions below):

1. On your desktop, double-click "My Computer"
2. Double-Click "Local Disk (C:)"
3. Double-click "My Download Files"
4. Then double click the file your font is in.
5. Drag the file within the previously opened file into the "My Download Files", next to the fle in which it came from.
6. Click the "Back" button--near the top, to the left-- twice.
7. Double-click "Control Pannel".
8. Double-click the "Fonts" folder.
9. Click "File" in the left-hand corner, then choose "Install New Fonts..."
10. Then in the scrool-down list, double-click "c:/"
11. Double-click "My Download Files"
12. Select the fonts you wish to make a part of your regular font list.
13. Press "OK" and your computer will retreve all the fonts in the file "My Download Files". Now all the new fonts will be a part of your regular font list!

-Sorry if these directions are too hard to follow-- I tried to make them simple...
