BlueStone Country was formed in June of 1997 by Don Lawson and Larry Zarmeski. The band consisted of 4 members; Don Lawson(Rhythm Guitar), Larry Zarmeski(Drums), Louie Albergist(Lead Vocals), Billy Wolkers(Bass Guitar). In September of 1997 tragedy struck when Larry died. (You'll always be remembered in our hearts). With that tragedy BlueStone Country had to move on and in November of 1997, Bill Norton was picked up as the new drummer. For 3 years BlueStone Country kicked Ass. In 2000, both Louie and Billy retired from the band. As the band had to move on they picked up a new lead guitarist (Ed Kosmahl), a fiddle player (Phil Cruikshank) and a new bass player (Erin Haughwout). In June of 2000 Erin resigned from the band and BlueStone Country was stumped. They began to interview many bass players and finally decided to add Rich Winslow. As of January of 2002 BlueStone Country changed its name to BlueStone. In September of 2002, Bill Norton & Phil Cruikshank quit. A few days later they found a new drummer (Chris Alaimo). Now the band consists of 4 members playing a variety of music, from Kenny Rogers to funk and the Doobie Brothers..Their Great experience has led them to become one of the hottest bands in the Wyoming Valley with their variety of music, great instruments and amazing vocals.
