Our new interview is with a girl named Missy who is also a member of an unsigned girl group. So check it out! :)
Mandi: What's your name, groups name, age, and location?
Missy: Melissa "Missy" Delz, PG02 (Pop Group 2002) we are using that for now, we don't have an Official name yet. I'm 17, 18 on March 27 and i am in Houston Texas Mandi:What is the addy for your website? Missy: http://www.geocities.com/pop_music_2002/ Mandi: What kind of music do you sing? Missy:We sing pop/r&b kinda like Dream, Willa Ford, and Britney Spears all in one! Mandi:How long have you been singing? Missy:I have been singing all my life. When I was 5 I wanted to be an opera singer, but that soon changed. Mandi: What kinds of music influences you? Missy: I have had a large influence from classic rock groups like Beatles, Eagles, Aerosmith, and Three Dog Night, but mostly Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears for the now days artists. Mandi:Who or what got you started singing? Missy: I think back in 1997 it was Backstreet Boys, they saved my life in ways no one will understand. They made me see my dream from when I was a child again. Mandi: Have you ever performed on stage before? Missy: I have done a talent show, and i do Karaoke singing ALL THE TIME! also i am in a dance troop that we do dances all the time. Mandi: Do you write your own music? Missy: Yeah I do some writing. When I am in class and I don't want to do my work I have a special spiral with all my songs! Mandi: What is you favorite song to sing on stage and why? Missy: I like to sing anything Dream because it is always upbeat and people like to listen to upbeat songs. I love to sing "I Wanna Be Bad" by Willa Ford and "I love Rock & Roll" by Joan Jett. They are just fun to sing! Mandi: What is your favorite song of all time? Missy: "More Than Words" by Extreme and redone by Westlife, "Walk this way" by Aerosmith and Run DMC, and "Eleanor Rigby" by the Beatles Mandi: Who is your biggest nonmusical inspiration? Missy: my best friend Courtney. (she's in the group) she had shown me that my dreams are not that far in reach and she has inspired me to go for them. Mandi: Who is your biggest musical inspiration? Missy: Backstreet Boys, no question. Like I said before they have helped me in more ways that I can describe. Mandi: If you could work with any artist who would it be and why? Missy: I would want to work with Sting, because he is so awesome, and I know my Mom would like that one. Also I would love to work with Brian McKnight! Brian McKnight is a wonderful artist. Mandi: If you could tour with any artist who would it be and why? Missy: Britney Spears, because it is about the same type of music, but I would just die if we would get to tour with Aerosmith. They are so great and I know they would be fun to hang out with behind the scenes. Not to mention, again my Mom would like that one. Mandi: If you could perform anywhere in the world where would it be and why? Missy: I would want to perform in Britain, I would love to go there and I would want to meet Prince William and Prince Harry. Also I would love to perform in Australia. The country is so beautiful and also i want to perform in ORLANDO! just because it's Orlando. Mandi: If you could cover any song what would it be and why? Missy: I would like to cover "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper because it's the total fun girls song! Mandi: Anything you want to say to the fans and visitors? Missy: Singing and Music is my life. If it wasn't for the satisfaction of the fans, it would make singing no fun. So, that you all know, it is all for them. they are what make me put 110% into everything I do. So don't be afraid to say hi or to contact me.
