Five Backstreet’s And A Baby Part Four
Five Backstreet's And A Baby - Part Four
Eight years later...
“Oh God. I can’t do this. I can’t!”
Leighanne set the veil on Angel’s head. “You’ll be fine. Jenna where‘s your flowers? Cody, do you have the ring? Ahh! Adam have you seen Carrie and Lizzie?”
Adam looked up. “Aunt Leigh I think they went outside.”
Leighanne picked up Jenna’s bouquet and ran outside, soon coming in
with them.
“Girls you can’t go running off.”
“Sorry.” They both said.
Jenna was helping Angel put on her lipstick. “You look great.”
“What time is it?” she asked, nervous.
“You have 5 more minutes.”
Angel started fidgeting.
“STOP fidgeting.”
“I can’t! Ahh why do weddings have to be so scary?”
Sarah walked over. “It’s all part of life, hun.”
The five minutes soon came. Nick walked in.
“Where is she?” he asked.
“Here she is. Mrs. Scott Williams.”
Angel turned around and saw her dad. Nick looked at her and got
tears in his eyes.
“My little Angel. You look amazing.” he said, pulling her into a hug.
“I’m not little!” she joked.
“You still are to me.” he smiled. “Are you ready?”
“Yeah.” she said, taking his arm. Leighanne opened the doors to the
cathedral. Angel looked around. Up at the altar was her soon-to-be
husband Scott, along with 17 year old Adam, Kevin’s son, Aaron,
Scott’s best friend Michael, and 12 year old Cody. Over by the bride’s
side was 19 year old Jenna, Samantha, Howie’s 7 year old daughter
Carrie, and AJ’s 8 year old daughter Lizzie. Smiling, she continued
walking seeing Kevin, AJ, Brian and Howie looking at her. She winked
at them and finally reached the altar.
“Ahem. Dearly beloved we are gathered here today in the sight of
God to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony. Will the father
please remove the veil?”
Nick turned to her and took off her veil, kissing her forehead. Angel
smiled as he took his seat.
“Do you, Scott Christopher Williams take this woman, Angela
Vitaliana Carter to be your wife, to have and to hold, for richer and for
poorer, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?”
“I do.” Scott said.
“And do you, Angela Vitaliana Carter, take this man, Scott Christopher
Williams to be your husband, to have and to hold, for richer and for
poorer, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?”
“I do.” she said.
“May we please have the rings?”
Cody walked up and gave them the rings.
“Scott, place this ring upon Angela’s finger, and repeat these words. I,
Scott, take thee Angela, to be my wife.”
Scott took the ring and said the words. Angel did the same.
“Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you man and
wife. You may kiss the bride.”
Scott kissed Angel as everyone applauded.
“Now, it is my pleasure to introduce to you all for the very first time,
Mr. and Mrs. Scott Williams!”
Angel looked at Nick, smiling as she walked down the aisle. They left
the church and headed for the reception, at Howie’s club.
“Now for the father’s last dance! Can we have Nicky come up here?”
Howie announced.
Nick took Angel’s hand. “Let’s dance.”
“Ok.” she said. A song began to play. Angel wrapped her arms around
Nick.
“I can’t believe it. My little baby is married.” he whispered.
“Daddy, I’m not a little baby!”
“Remember when you were 5, and I told you those words?”
“What?”
“I said, you will always be my baby, even when you are getting
married.”
Angel kissed him on the cheek. “You’re right. I’ll always be your baby.”
