AND HERE'S THE NEWS...

  • 4/24/03- We now have the official times for the O'Brien's 5&10 50th Anniversary performance. TC will be playing at 11:00AM and again at 1:00PM. For more information click HERE. Final details involving another May performance are just about all in, so we will be having another update within the next couple days. :-)

  • 3/31/03- BIG NEWS!!! WE HAVE ACTUAL PERFORMANCES COMING UP!!! I kid you not! Thought Contagion will be performing, possibly twice throughout the day, on Saturday, May 10 at O'Brien's 5&10 in Northboro, MA. Joe's parents and Aunt and Uncle own this store and it is celebrating its 50th Anniversary on this day. When asked to participate in this momentous occasion, we jumped at the opportunity. Visit the Shows page for information (more will be available as we get closer to the date). Another show is also taking shape for the end of May for which we will be putting up information very soon so KEEP CHECKING IN!!!

  • 3/1/03- HELLO PEOPLE!!! Yes, we are in fact still alive, and you can rest assured that Thought Contagion still exists. In fact, Joe Wilson has written another complete song. It's called "Your Eyes" and it's a love song that he wrote for his wonderful girlfriend. You can check out the lyrics on the lyrics page of this site. Our search for a new member appears to be just about over, but we are not quite ready to make the announcement official. Keep checking over the next few days. In the coming months it's looking like we have a shot at playing some new material at an upcoming event at the high school, and we are also looking forward to some possible Battle of the Bands type shows. We are learning all new material for these shows as well as some classics. So keep checking in, we're not dead yet. ;-)

  • 11/17/02- Well, just as we were looking forward to actually playing some gigs and learning some new music, tragedy strikes the Thought Contagion camp yet again. Pat Dacey, newly acquired member of TC, has decided to leave the band. His other commitments are too great at this time for him to be able to put the full effort into TC that is demanded by our style. As for the rest of the band, who knows what the future holds? But rest assured that whatever happens, great music will be involved. ROCK ON!!!

  • 9/13/02- In our recent absence from the gig scene, we would still like to keep you interested in our goings-on. While we are currently hard at work on original songs and a whole new repetoire of cover songs, we would also like you to keep checking our page for other cool stuff. On each member's bio. page are numerous interesting links, articles, and interviews, as well as a lot of odd information. A new addition to the site is Joe's Page of Cool Pictures which will periodically updated with neat and unusual pictures, generally pertaining to Joe's personal interests. So, for anyone interested, this page is up and already has two neat pictures featuring members from Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation, and Symphony X. click here

  • 8/25/02- We have just added two new Thought Contagion buddy icons to the downloads page!!! Click here and Enjoy!!!

  • 7/31/02- And just like that, Thought Contagion has a newly completed original song. After much toil and hard work, Joe Wilson has completed Soldier's Outcry. This is a song Joe has been working on by himself for a while and started out as an acoustic tune, but it took on a life of it's own and the band can't wait for you to hear it. The lyrics have been posted on the Lyrics Page and there is already the possibility of a midi file of the song being posted very soon. In our recent lack of shows, we are trying to do all that we can to stay in your lives. So please check us out and tell us what you think in our guestbook. That's all for now.

  • 7/26/02- Here is the announcement you have all been waiting for. Due to Fran Fazio's departure from the band, Thought Contagion was forced to search for a new member. Moose, already a member of the band, and an excellent drummer, will be taking over the percussion duties. This meant that our replacement would need to be well versed in the bass guitar, as well as rhythm guitars, and keyboards. On our quest we were lucky enough to find someone cabable of all of those things, not to mention, he can hold his own when it comes to vocals. Ladies and gentlement, the new member of Thought Contagion: Mr. Pat Dacey. Pat will be learning lots of music and will be very much involved with our originals from now on. We welcome him into our band with open arms and hope that our fans will as well. More announcements will follow in the coming days.

  • 7/24/02- We would like to apologize for our absence over the past few months. We have been experiencing some difficulties among the group. With everyone's activities going on and Kira now living in Connecticut, it has been difficult to be commited to the band for any of us. It is with much sadness that we announce the departure of co-founding member, Fran Fazio. He decided that his musical aspirations didn't run parrallel with the rest of the group, and he has chosen to get involved with other projects where his talents will be better used and he will have a musical outlet more akin to his dream. There are absolutely no hard feelings between Fran and the rest of the band and we are all still on very good terms. In fact, you can still see Fran performing in his new band with TC guitarist Tim Dacey and Tim's brother Pat at local venues in the near future. TC will be announcing a new member and some other important information very soon. We have narrowed down the choices and believe that our fans will be quite pleased with how things are going to turn out. Along with that update we will also announce a new direction that we plan to take in our musical voyage. Until then: stay tuned to our site, our music, and... your heart. Sorry, that was pretty cheesey.

  • 5/22/02- Thought Contagion will be playing at the David Prouty Spring Fling on this Friday, May 24. We are scheduled to go on at 6 o'clock P.M. Other activities include sumo wrestling, bunjie races, and volleyball. Tickets are just $6.00, and the festivities begin at 4:30. Hope to see you there!

  • 5/12/02- A couple of updates today. I have just added the lyrics to one of our current projects, Thorns, to our lyrics page. We are also working on another song, not yet titled. Guess what!!! It looks like we have a show coming up!!! Very tentatively scheduled for early June is a local bands concert, possibly a battle of the bands, and will be held at David Prouty High School. If everything goes as planned, then The Missing Lance Project will be playing as well. You should all check out their new CD. For more info on MLP, visit their site: click here

  • 4/4/02- Hello everyone. We would like to inform you that our third and most ambitious song yet is taking shape. It has been completely mapped and all we need to do is put it together with the full group. It is called "Thorns," and we will get the lyrics up ASAP. We are also currently learning a slew of new cover songs that you will all hopefully recognize. These too, will soon be posted. Stay tuned.

  • 3/12/02- This is a message regarding our guest book. It is meant as a medium to be utilized by visitors to our site in order for them to give us insightful, intelligent, and RESPECTFUL comments. Criticisms, by all means, are allowed. They are even welcome, but the key word is respectful. If you have never listened to our band or even heard of our band, what is the point in bashing us? It doesn't bother us, and all it accomplishes is making you look truly immature. We would like to personally thank all those people, whom we consider fans, who take the time to give us the chance that we deserve.

  • 3/10/02- Thought Contagion has recorded their first song: "Hawks and Falcons." We will make every attempt to get the full version on the site as soon as possible. "Paved with Good Intentions" is coming along very nicely, and we look forward to recording it very soon. At that point we will look into getting some CD's made with at least those two songs to get out to all of you people. So keep checking in, we don't want to you get left behind.

  • 3/6/02- Some great news! We'll be recording this weekend, so hopefully we can get some sound clips up of "Hawks and Falcons" which we are all looking foward to. Plus, we're working on a new song, "Paved With Good Intentions," and the lyrics are now posted on the Lyrics Page. Check it out!

  • 1/27/02- It is with much grief that we tell our fans that we have parted ways with guitarist, Andy Roberts. He has contributed extensively to Thought Contagion and his talent will be missed. The band decided to part ways with Mr. Roberts because he and the band are simply in different musical frames of mind. We wish Andy the best in all that he does. Thought Contagion, however, will continue progressing. We are currently working on a number of new songs, originals and a couple of new covers. So stay tuned and keep spreading the contagion. We're never slowing down, we're only just now taking off.

  • 1/1/02- We have some great news for the first day of the new year. The lyrics to Thought Contagion's first completed original song have been posted on the lyrics page. Check them out and we'll be working on getting up some sound clips.
