There has been a proposal for Descended Down to join Pittsburgh based band, Metaphor, on a tri-state tour of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio, which would probably start between early-mid March or early April. A decesion hasn't been made yet, so keep checking back for more info.

We are considering adding another bassist to Descended Down so we can get some more creativity. He will make a decesion towards the end of the week.

First off, Descended Down has decided that they will tour with Pittsburgh based band, Metaphor on a tri-state tour. Dates and venues should be listed on this web site within 3 weeks.
Second, bassist Boomer Perfetta who was going to be added to the band, decided for now, to stick with the band he is currently in to avoid any conflicts that could've taken place, but there is another one that the band has contacted and will audition on 2-19-02.
Last but not least, we have began talks with Pittsburgh area band, Stasis on doing a summer tour which would include shows in many areas on the east coast and part of the central U.S.

Due to very recent changes, talks are going on yet again with Frozen Napalm bassist, Boomer Perfetta, and he is expected to join the band in the very near future after a minor health problem is dealt with.

Descended Down has asked guitar player Zach Cline to join the group, and a decesion should be made by later today. He will more than likely accept our offer. If he does, Tom and Jim will still remain in the group.

Bassist, Boomer Perfetta has agreed to join the band, but he will not be on stage for the March 3rd show at American Music Cafe due to a back problem that won't be corrected till the day after.

Zach Cline has accepted the offer to join Descended Down, and is now the second rhythm guitarist along with Jim Blazowich.

Well the first major line-up change has been made. At the Tuesday practice (2-19-02), Tony Blazowich was asked to leave the band. We appreciate everything that he has done to contribute, and we wish him luck for whatever other projects he decides to get into. Boomer Perfetta, who already agreed to join the band, will now be taking full control of the Bass Guitar duties, but until a back problem is corrected, John Bongarie will fill in.

Talks went down again with Stasis and there will be some shows scheduled for mid April and beyond. Some date and venues will be announced within 4 weeks.

It turns out that John Bongarie is not the person for the band. Therefore, we have decided to go with Ryan (Toez) Trump for backup bass guitar.
Also, we will be opening the Battle Of The Bands at American Music Cafe on March 3rd. We plan to take the stage around 1:30pm. Buy tickets from us before you go in! They help us out, plus their cheaper!

Well, we played in the Battle Of The Bands competition today. And first of, I want to say this; To all the people who said they were going to come out and support us, but didn't, fuck you! To the people that did; Thanks. It really is appreciated.
Second, Due to the fact that our singer was probably too damn stoned to remember we had a gig today, and our bass players mommy wouldn't let him out of the house, It was basically just Jim and Michael playing the show. Tom was there but he spent the majority of the time on his knees praying to his amp. The judges didn't think to highly of not having a vocalist. Therefore, we didn't advance to the next round. But we did have a good many fan votes....Too bad they don't count as much as the judges. Expect some line up changes to be made in the near future.
Also there is a new show scheduled.

One thing is for sure, Descended Down is going through bass players faster than Angus Young can play a 12 bar solo. It was decided that the band is not the right thing for Toez and that Toez is not the right person for the band. Thats three bass players within 2 weeks. Boomer Perfetta, who already agreed to join a few weeks ago, now has the majority of his health issues clearded up and is ready to take on the regular bass duties.

Boomer Perfetta is no longer a member of Descended Down due to too many reasons to name. Tony Blazowich may be asked to re-join the band to play bass again. Also, Descended Down tried out another guitarist tonight. He will practice with us on Monday and we`ll see how it go`s from there.

Descended Down has added Keyboard & Synthesizer player to the band! This should be a very good expirement for us.

Tonight, Tom Horton and Rick Wigley were ditched from the band, and replaced with Jared Pasparage. Many things led up to this decesion. Tom may still be with us as far as booking shows go's but thats about it. Jim Blazowich is now back on rhythm guitar and Jared has taken over lead.

Due to the lack of effort of putting in time to try and make a decent drum beat for a song, Michael Beck has been replaced by Jake Palmer, of The Hentais. For now, Jake is just substituting but could end up being our solid drummer.
PS: I personally want to thank everyone who came out to our show this past Monday, and also I want to appoligize for the poor performance. The changing of drummers is the result of our performance Monday. That was the first and last bad show. Thanks again. Jim.

Hey everyone, sorry it's been a while since the last update, but now we got some changes to tell you. First of all, Zach and Jim have been putting new material together and will hopefully be in-and-out of the studio by July at the latest. Therefore, the tours that were being planned with Stasis and Metaphor are cancelled. We will be playing shows locally though while recording is being done. That seems to be about it for now

Hey guys, just wanted to keep you posted that Zack, Jim, and Jared have been working together to get some new songs down. There are three new finished songs we have been working on, and a couple unfinished ones, so with that said, we should be playing another show hopefully in no later then a month.

Just an update that Descended Down will be trying out a bass player on Mondays practice, and as of now, it seems like he's good for the band. Also, another song has been written. Keep checking back for show dates.

Well first of all, the web site is getting redesigned, so if it looks a little strange for the next few days, thats why.
Second, the bassist we were going to try out this past Monday seems to have other obligations, so we have decided to go with Jake Ihavenolastname to be our bassist, who was introduced to us by Dissevered lead guitarist, Davie. Jake will decide if he wants to be with us after Mondays practice.
Last but certainly not least, we have scheduled a BIG show for the summer. Check out the gigs page to see what it is.

At todays practice, Jared, Jim, and Zach came up with 3 new songs. All of which are grade A material. An MP3 or somethin may be up soon. But UNFORTUNATLEY we had to cancel our July 26th show due to reasons that wont be disclosed. But who cares? Three new songs in one practice is amazing!

Zach Cline has left Descended Down because reliable drummers are hard to find. No worries though, everything is still going smooooth as normal.
Tomorrow, Jared, Jim and Jake are gonna put some new shit together at practice. ROCK ON!!

Well it`s been a while since the last update so there is a couple things to say. First being that since Zach Cline left the group, we are more than likely going to take a different approach and maybe go a little more on the expiremental side instead of straight ahead metal. Second, we have to get rid of Jake Palmer as drummer because he likes to make people think his life is more hectic than it really is, so if there are any drummers reading this, drop me an email. On a final note: Nu Breed sucks!!! The Limp Bizkit rap-rock scene is dead.

Hi ladies and gents, after nearly a month of no practice, updates, and not knowning what to do with ourselves, Descended Down will be getting back on track again soon. We just picked up former vocalist of Solemn, Jason Aubele who is going to be our new drummer, so more updates should be expected soon. Sorry for the delay everyone.
