Chapter 5 - The Airport Part II
~* Taylor's Point Of View *~
"Do you see them?" I asked as people piled out of the plane, none of them being my cousin and her friend.
" No...wait! yeah they're coming! They're coming!"
Zac shouted excitedly, jumping up and down like he was five years old. That's when I saw her. Sure I hadn't seen her in person since we were eight but I'd recognize her anywhere.
" Amanda!" I yelled enveloping her in a hug. Still tiny as ever I noted to myself, not surprised. However, what did surprise me was the words that escaped her mouth next.
" Why didn't you tell me about what happened with you and Rachael?" she looked so hurt as she said it.
" I...I....I..." I was at an absolute loss for words. How was I supposed to explain that.
" You what Taylor? We're best friends. We're supposed to tell eachother everything. How could you not tell me something sooo important?! Especially when you know I had gone through the same thing with Matt?" She was about to cry, and it hurt so bad to think that I was the one to cause her tears form.
" I don't know why I didn't tell you. I guess I didn't want you to have to worry about it. I didn't want to burden you with my problems."
" Taylor, I'm only gonna tell you this once more. We're best friends. We tell eachother EVERYTHING. K? And your problems are never a burden. You know that you can call me anytime day or night, for anything. Even if just to say hi. Ok? Please, don't keep stuff from me. How can I say that I'm your best friend unless I can say that I've been there for you and how can I be there for you if you don't tell me your problems?"
" I don't know?"
"Me either so since we don't know why don't we just stick to telling eachother everything, k?"
" Sure, I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt you by not telling you."
" It's ok, just don't do it again." I squeezed her tight, then grabbed her hand and went over to go say hey to Krista and Kendra.
" Hey Krista. Long time no see huh?" I said laughing.
" Yeah really."
" Hey Kendra. How ya been?" I said giving my cousin a hug.
" Pretty good." Then we all headed to baggage claim to get their bags. After standing there for ten minutes their baggage FINALLY came into view. They each had two huge and extremely heavy suitcases.
" Why did you bring so much. You're only going to be here for three months."
" We're girls." and that was their explanation.
~* Manda's point Of view *~
Well yeah I had been hurt that he hadn't told me about Rachael, but somehow having him actually there made things not so bad. He apologized, and that was that. After grabbing our suitcases we headed out to Isaac's car. We crammed our stuff into the trunk and then crammed into the car. Only now there was a slight problem. The car sat five, and there were six of us. It finally ended up that Kendra sat up front next to Isaac. Zac sat next to the window Krista sat in the middle, and I sat on Taylor's lap next to the other window. It was cramped, but then again it was only a 20 minute car ride.
