*2:00am*
" I can't believe we're up this early!" I whined.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAWN! Well we have to be at the airport by 3:00am and our plane leaves at 4:00 soooo...." Kendra explained.
" Well duh I know that. But why so early!!!!!! grrrr.... he better appreciate this."
" Appreciate what?" Krista said entering the conversation."
"Appreciate me getting up at 2:00 am to take a shower and blow dry my hair so I don't look like I just woke up when I get there."
They both giggled in response to my last comment.
" He won't care what you look like. He'll just be happy to have you there." Kendra said after their giggles died down.
" Well he may not care what I look like but I do. So I'm gonna go take a shower now." I said as I got up.
I grabbed my backpack, which had my outfit for the day, my make-up and other bathroom stuff, my discman, and a couple magazines. Fifteen minutes later I was out of the shower and dressed in white shorts and a pink, 3/4 length sleeve, v-neck shirt. I had my favorite black belt on. On the back, in silver dots, it said hottie. I was also wearing my black and cork sandals. After blow drying my hair I applied light make-up and left the bathroom to find Kendra's room empty. Figuring they had just gone ahead downstairs, I picked up my backpack and made my way down stairs.
" Hurry up and eat something. My dad wants to leave in ten minutes." Kendra said as I sat down at the bar in the kitchen.
" Alright." I replied as I poured a small bowl of cereal and quickly ate it. When I was done I excused myself so that I could go brush my teeth. I have this weird quirk about fresh breath and white teeth. Two minutes later we piled into Kendra's Jetta and left for the airport. Her dad came along so that he could driver her car back to their house.
~*20 minutes Later at the airport*~
We arrived at 10 till 3:00am. We quickly checked our bags in. We had each packed two suitcases for the summer with an extra duffel bag inside for when we came back.( No matter how hard you tried you could never fit what you brought and what you got into the same suit cases you started with.) After checking our bags and getting our boarding passes we made our way over to Terminal C6, where we would board our plane in 20 minutes.
~*20 minutes Later*~
" We are now boarding rows 10-30 ,flight 2171 to Tulsa, Oklahoma." A woman reported in a nasally voice over the intercom.
" Well that's us." Kendra stated, standing up and grabbing her backpack.
" I'll call you when we get to Uncle Walker's. I love you dad. Bye." She said while giving her dad a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
" Bye Mr. Brant." Krista and I chorused while heading to the plane.
" Bye girls have fun. Be careful."
" We will" we shouted as we headed into the terminal before boarding the plane. We quickly found our seats. row 15 seats A,B,andC. They called for the rest of the passengers.
" Ladies and gentlemen please make sure that your seats are in the full and complete up-right position and that your seatbelts are fastend. I would also like to remind you that there is to be no smoking, and all electronic devices are to be turned off until the announcement is made that you can turn them on. Thank-You and we hope you enjoy your flight."
The perky flight attendant announced. Shortly after our plane took off and was on it's way to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
