Okay, today (7-15-01) my friend Candace moved to Tucson, Arizona. Candace, today Rachel and I were thinking about stuff you used to do, and later I made a list of things I could remember about you off the top of my head. It filled 11 pages. I'm sure if I thought more and looked through my journal, I could write another 11 pages, but here's the things I wrote down that remind me of you, Candace:

The 8th grade boys basketball state championship! We wrote notes in class that day to decide what to bring, and we drew on our faces with face crayons and we played Pokemon and you always used your Charizard and you got the nickname Uncle Candace and we played the game Psychiatrist with Meredith and she couldn't figure out that we were just answering each other's questions!
you were friends with Laura Moore and Emily Esker that year
I went to your 14th B-day party in 7th grade and you gave me a tour of your house and I thought it was SO COOL and we played hide and seek and I always went up the cool winding stairs in your kitchen and there was a tornado warning and we all got scared and ran down in the basement!
we both had liked Andrew Geis
it was always hard to come in your house cuz Ace would always come down and attack ppl!
you call your parents Marsha (we love her, she's so nice!) and Bill!

on the 7th grade band trip to Six Flags we wrote 2ge+her ppl on our hands and we wrote Doug on Mer's hand in a Gelly Roll Lightning pen so it didn't come off! And we wanted to go rock climbing and mer and kara left and we couldn't find them so we rode the scrambler and i smashed you and then we found them on Mr. Freeze and that was a fun ride!
I called you from Idaho last summer to find out if you got 8A
we went to Mer's Scream Party and we played the first 2Ge+ther CD and sang "Rub One Out" and everyone thought we were insane and then after we watched the Scream movies we watched 2Ge+her stuff and stayed up till like 6!
we had P.E. together last year and we played soccer and we named the teams the orange team and the yellow team for Alex and Noah!
you were the first person I ever had on my buddy list and talked to cuz you had AIM in 7th grade and i had AOL
we have our posse and the ppl we've had in them all year included you, me, Stephen, Travis, Jenny, Laura, Rachel, Mike, and most recently Andy(you two were SO cute together, if he lived here and you were staying you two would have been going out)
we always hung out at the CHS football games
you and jenny and rob and like corey had that little posse going on for a little bit
we always went to the mall and hung out even though our mall sucks
you and your cousin came up with the f*** bracletes and we all wore them!
we used to joke around with french fries
we went to that Mattoon girls basketball game and then the Dairy Queen and then the gas station where Jenny and Travis made out and Travis looked like a FISH!

Billy has a snake named like Slithery and Rachel and I watched it eat a mouse the day that the dead body was found on 4th Street
that one time we had a like 4-hour convo on the phone and I was playing the Sims and made the Furmo family and under Candace Furmo it has all this stuff in the bio like Junglebella and I heart Carebears and Scooter is a good name!

you had the New Year's Party at your basement and it was really fun and Travis and Andi came over and we all got mad! and earlier when Laura and I came over to help you decorate, we rode your brother's scooter around and it was cool!
we talked like all night when laura and I were spending the night and Laura kept falling asleep and you told us about your toestring and your reading TUTOR and you accidently said Hermit the Crab instead of Kermit the Frog!!!!
when we went trick-or-treating and we were Barbie Cheerleaders and the guys sprayed Silly String on our butts!
when you were upstairs at your house and Laura and I saw something fly from the top of your stairs!
before you got your computer we had to use the one downstairs in your den thingy and that was where stephen and travis duct taped me and where travis said, "That's NOT my leg!"
you told me about Jolly Rancher Jello and i always tried to buy it but they never had it and i just now got some and it's REALLY good
i went to see you both nights in the CMS musical! Wasn't your name like Karen??? We always made fun of your hat, but it was soooo cute!
you're getting a yellow jeep
the days you called and told me that Michael Cuccione died and i didn't believe you at first and then you went to his cancer website and i went to mtv.com and we were like sad
we had the "Remember Michael Party" and made those posters and watched 2Ge+her and lamanted those pics of Michael and always carried them around in our back pockets and at lunch we took them out and put them back in so they wouldn't be molded into the shape of our butts!
we called Rob Robobob and Pimp Daddy and sent him Candy Grams!
you were Rumpleteazer and you called her Humpateazer
we called Rum Tum Tugger the Pimp Cat and when we watched CATS at my house you said "When I went to see CATS, the Rum Tum Tugger had on see-through tights and he had a really big dick!"
ppl used to say that you talked funny but you didn't and you have a really cool voice
we watched a movie at your house and Jenny, Travis, and I were lying on the couch and she started sucking on his finger and then later the made out under the glass table!!!!

we woke up at like 6 this morning to eat breakfast at McDonald's with you and then threw dirt at the new bandshell
you hugged each of us before leaving this morning
when we drove away we realized we were following you and at University and Lincoln we pulled up next to you and you were crying like crazy and it made me and Rachel cry harder
after you left we drove by your house and then to our bench from where Rachel and I started walking and ended up at your house, just crying and talking about all these kinda things that we remember about you
Candace, you've been gone for about 8 hours and already I miss you SO MUCH! You have to come and visit us cuz we all totallly miss you and frankly, the posse just isn't the same without you. :(
