Often referred to by his initials, SRV, he is best known as the leader of the blues rock band Double Trouble, with whom he recorded four studio albums. Influenced by guitarists of various genres, Vaughan emphasized intensity and emotion in his guitar playing, and favored vintage guitars and amplifiers. He became one of the leading blues rock musicians, encompassing multiple styles, including jazz and ballads.

As a youth Joplin was ridiculed by her fellow students due to her unconventional appearance and personal beliefs. She later sang about her experience at school through her song "Ego Rock." Early in her life, Joplin cultivated a rebellious and unconventional lifestyle, becoming a beatnik poet. She began her singing career as a folk and blues singer in San Francisco, playing clubs and bars with her guitar and auto-harp.

Controversial through his political and peace activism, he moved to New York City in 1971, where his criticism of the Vietnam War resulted in a lengthy attempt by Richard Nixon's administration to deport him, while some of his songs were adopted as anthems by the anti-war movement. Guitar prodigy who started at the age of six and taught at his mother's school during his professional career he gave the inspiration for Grover Jackson Founder of Jackson guitars to start a guitar company completely by accident. His inspiration was Randy's Idea of the now famous Flying V style guitar that has sold millions. Also his now famous Polka Dot Flying V which he is seen playing in pictures most of the time is the most recognizable and expensive guitar in the world to duplicate. Because of it's price a whopping $8000 it has rarely been duplicated. Randy was also the original guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne and he is famous for combing classical and heavy metal together (bio by P. Sarathchandra).
