The Mission...
In the news today it is almost impossible to miss yet another story about how a band is being blamed for a child's Heinous actions. I’ve developed this website as a place for musicians, fans, and anyone else to come and voice their opinions on lyrical as well as musical expression and it's effects on society.
Many artists write songs with controversial lyrics, and this forces them in the spotlight for doing so. Lyrics are a form of expression, as is the music, and can be interpreted in many different ways. The Independent Musician is a place for all opinions to be heard on the matter.

This site is only in the beginning stages. Its purpose is for my persuasion class final project. I value all your opinions, and look forward to your responses.
