paul was born in london on january 24th, 1975. his family later moved to hertfordshire then to spain.

before joining a1, paul had a variety of jobs. he and his dad did import-export in spain and he also did some modeling. paul was the first member to join a1- in fact he was the only person out of hundreds who was picked from the audition.

paul has written several songs for a1, he has writing credits on 11 tracks. as a member of a1 he has had 2 uk number ones and 6 other top 10 hits so far, and there are many more to come! the band have won several awards including the 'best british newcomer' brit and a smash hits award for 'best video' (take on me).

paul certainly has a bright future ahead of him. a1 are currently working on their next album,paul says it will be influenced by rock music! if a1 do split one day, paul has the potential to be a big solo star

talent: 8/10 paul may not be an expert at a particular intrument and hasn't as many songwriting credits as his bandmates, but he has a brilliant voice and is a fantastic dancer.

love rating: 8/10 paul is the only member who admitts to having a girlfriend. her name is heidi but paul has confused us by stating that she is a teacher, decorator and model! she is one lucky girl as paul is perfect boyfriend material, declaring that he would do anything for love!
