NJ started Djing in 1989 when he was 15, playing the summer of love classics at friends party’s. He got a bit more serious about Djing in 1991 and started regularly buying hardcore records. Since then NJ, played hard house and trance until Speed Garage hit the scene in 97. In 1999 ex Erotic fm dj Easy Lee introduced NJ to the management at Erotic fm. Since then NJ has teamed up with DJ’s Steve Stritton and Scott Riches to form the Essential Grooves Crew. Together they organise Romfords Essential Grooves club nights. NJ is also jointly responsible for the Sweet Sensations Under 18’s events.
