5/11/2001 Well we got the the venue waay, too early, cos it was so conveniently close to the station. It was Alissa's birthday, and we were feeling happy, all be it a bit tired from the long train ride.
We saw the OOMPH! guys again. The singer Dero talked to us for a while. liss asked if they ever talked to the band,he answered they'd said hello and good luck to HIM but they hadn't talked, not the whole tour!! Bit strange, we thought.
Well we decided not to hang around the boring building, so we walked around a bit. Saw a nice church and looked a few statues. Then we met the oomph guys again, so funny. Feeling hungry we went to Mc Donalds, (woohoo) and then went back. But...danger lurked...we heard german...crazy fans, aaah!!!(no offence to the normal german fans)They even started fighting while we were still in line. Damn man!! When we finally got in we got great spots, but that soon changed, they started pushing and pulling, it was horrible. OOMPH! play jumping songs(if u don't know)man really, worse than hell(not the songs but the jumping of course) At certain points I didn't feel the floor anymore. And then when HIM came out, it was crazy. We went back a bit, and half way the concert it got a bit better,kinda...
After the gig we talked to John again. Alissa felt sad because her birthday had been spoilt. But John (who turns out to be the sweetest guy ever)gave her a signed card.
at any rate it was quite an experience.
