I came to the Botanique at about four...after wandering around in the gardens a bit, and I met up with Elke. We talked for quite some time. It was nice finally meeting her in person. I saw some girls I'd met at last year's concert (in Antwerp)
Then at about five 'o clock Alissa came. We talked (again, what else is there to do) Anais, Sofie, and Ankie were there too.
While we were chatting away, we heard the soundcheck, and people were going in and out of the hall, the gates were being moved around a lot, so by six we were boxed in...Suddenly we saw someone go into the toilets..."Was that Migé?" Turns out it was him, he was kinda lost. As he came back out, he stood in the middle of all of us, soo confused. *lol* We told him he had to go back, cause we were stuck, :)
As we were let in (finally) there was a bit of chaos, but liss got me in the third row (love ya babe) a wonderful spot. First the support act started..."HI we are OOMPH from fucking germany!!!!!!!" They're really good. A totally different kind of music than HIM, but great. It's a jumping kind of music,...in German, but don't worry, Dero(the singer) makes sure you get the point, *lol*
Then HIM came on, man were they in a great mood!! Ville was smiling as he got on stage, and the whole band looked fantastic. They started with Right Here In My Arms, with a new intro ( thank you Burton?) After a break, Ville got his guitar and played Ressurection (at the request of someone in the public) ...he didn't play all of it though (damn, no ooh 's or ah's...) "Sorry can't remember the next part, we haven't played it in such a long time" Well Ville maybe you should !!!
The interaction was really great. Someone threw a pair of panties on stage, and called out he should wear it. "Well I'll wash it first" *loooooooool*
It was fantastic, but as per usual, it was over too soon.
After the concert Alissa and I bugged the driver (who was really strict) then the band got out of the building,and Gas signed an autograph, and then it was over...
but not for Alissa and me, :)
