Beyonce's "Crazy In Love" has shown amazing stamina thus far, and finally, after 13 weeks, claims the Number One position. Last week's champs, Fountains of Wayne, retreat to No. 2 with "Stacy's Mom," while OutKast's "Hey Ya!" bounces 7-5, knocking Seal's "Waiting For You" back 5-8. Seal's sudden dip comes as I begin to focus my attentions on "Love's Divine," another of the three current singles from Seal IV ("Waiting" is the radio single, "Divine" is the single with a major video and "Get It Together" is the only single available at retail). The top debut, at No. 17, comes from the U.K.-only single "Sweet Dreams My L.A. Ex," by Rachel Stevens, a survivor of the popular British group S Club, which split up earlier this year.

On the album chart, the death of the legendary Johnny Cash prompted me to rediscover his latest disc, American IV, a favorite of mine earlier this year, and he re-enters at No. 1, making it his third non-consecutive week there, which ties the record set by Chantal Kreviazuk, who slides 1-4. The only new entry of note is 9 + 11, which arrives at No. 3. The album, as I explain here, is something of my own creation and is only the second such album, after Tina Arena's faux Greatest Hits, to actually make the chart. ...And because I haven't said enough about it, I must remind everyone that I am really excited about this coming Tuesday, because that's when Shelby Lynne's Identity Crisis hits shelves.

Must...have...that...CD...

On both charts, titles, such as "Number One," etc., are self-explanatory. However, the "Top Debut" honor only applies when there are two or more new entries.
