Nothing exciting to talk about this week, so I'll spout off chart facts. Aren't you thrilled?

Fountains Of Wayne retain the top spot on the singles list with "Stacy's Mom," while the only significant chart moves come from OutKast's "Hey Ya!," up 8-7, the all-star soundtrack jam "Fighting Temptation" (from the upcoming The Fighting Temptations, starring Beyonce and Cuba Gooding, Jr.), moving 17-15, and, bouncing 23-21, Mandy Moore's cover of John Hiatt's "Have A Little Faith In Me," from her new album of...80's covers, entitled Coverage. Strange career move for an up-and-coming musician/actress/make-up spokeswoman but, hey, it's more interesting than anything Christina Aguilera or Britney Spears has done lately.

Elsewhere, Beyonce has the only debut on the TrackList with "Baby Boy" (featuring Sean Paul), making her the only artist with two or more songs on the chart. As well, Chantal Kreviazuk continues to reign over the album list with her awesome What If It All Means Something, as we see re-entries from Ms. Dynamite (No. 5) and Evanescence (No. 9). Expect no new albums to chart until the week of Sept. 21, when I foresee Shelby Lynne's Identity Crisis making quite a splash. Stay tuned.
