Lately, I haven't felt like saying much. I've just let the chart speak for itself. But, thanks to the new No. 1 track, Fiona Apple's chipper cover of "Frosty The Snowman", there are a few things worth mentioning. Most notably, "Frosty" is the first ever Christmas song to reach the apex. The previous high was attained by Billy Mack's (né Bill Nighy) "Christmas Is All Around", from last year's film Love Actually, which topped out at No. 10. As well, this is the not only the biggest leap to No. 1 in the TrackList's history, but also the single biggest leap ever. So, let's hear it for Fiona, breaking three records in a single bound! Hoorah!--BJU | ||||
