And Now A Word… |
|
In a big
shocker, Courtney Love takes
domination of Top 50 with her debut solo single, "Mono." It bounds 40-1, knocking Victoria Beckham's "Let Your Head
Go" down a spot. Meanwhile, the
song I figured would be
No. 1, Kimberly Locke's
"8th World Wonder," stays put at No. 6....The top debut comes from Beyoncé, as "Me, Myself And
I" finally enters the list at No. 41.
Other debuts come from Jason Mraz (No. 47), Willa Ford (No. 50) and Janet Jackson (No. 44), who's latest album, Damita
Jo, hits shelves March 30....In album chart news, Alicia Keys retakes No. 1, and we see
not one, but two re-entries
from Play. Yeah, they're cheesy, but I love 'em. So sue me.
So, yeah, I say it's time we end this boring overview. I promise to be more interesting next
week. Really. -- Brandon "Jayson" Ulman |
