HERSHEY, PA ~ 8/15/01

head to (concert pictures/fan pictures) to see pics from this show!PART ONE: before the show We got to Hershey Park Stadium around 2:00. We walked over to Will Call and got our tickets and we got 4th row center between rob and adam.. they were GREAT seats.. so anyways.. we decide to go over to chocolate world and for those of you that have no idea what hershey park/chocolate world is.. let me explain.. If you know what hershey's chocolate is.. well hershey park is an amusement park and chocolate world is where they sell chocolate and have a ride that you can go on to see how they make chocolate.. so anyways again.. we went on the chocolate world ride.. and then we walked back over to the arena.. we are sitting in my car drinking water.. and i look in my rear view mirror and i'm like.. oh shit! krissy look.. and we see 2 tour buses come driving in.. so i like throw myself out of the car.. my bottle of water goes flying down the parking lot and i don't even care.. i grab everything.. and we start walking after the buses and i'm trying to put batteries in my camera as we are walking.. and we get to the other side of this fenced in area and the security guards were the biggest !@#%$!@#^%! in the whole world. They were like.. "you can't stand here!!!" "keep walking!!!" and krissy is like "F*ck you!" LMao.. it was funny.. so we kept walking then and we went over to the other side of the fence where we were parked and we saw some people we knew so we were hanging out and we are talking to this security guard guy who was pretty nice i guess.. but anyways.. we are standing there and we got to hear the soundcheck which was pretty awesome.. and then this lady walks over and is talking to the security man and is like.. golf cart.... through gate... to chocolate world.. and i'm like.. ohhhhhh.. and the security man is like.. rob thomas is gonna be coming through here on a golf cart.. and we are all like no way! So we step back to wait.. and sure enough like 4 minutes later the gate opens and out comes a golf cart with jason, marisol and rob... I snapped a picture cuz i'm a dork! lmao... so me and krissy wanted to follow them but we were like noooo. stalkers are badddddd. So then me and krissy and 2 of our friends Deb and Beth decided to go over to chocolate world cuz they had never been on the chocolate world ride before.. so we head over and we see the golf cart parked outside and we are like woah they must still be here.. so we walk into the building and i look over to this shopping area and i see rob and marisol, arms around each other, walking through the shops and i nearly died!! i wanted to run over sooooooooo bad and i can see it now.. i would have been all like.. oh hey.. your rob from matchbox right? yeah.. i'm going to the show.. yeah.. u guys are cool.. yeah. um.. I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUU.....I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUU and then i would have attached myself to his leg and NOT let go and marisol would have picked up one of the stuffed hershey kiss dolls and started beating me with it.. yup.. that would not have been good.. so i didn't walk over.... Deb and Beth and Krissy made me stop and think and i thought...yeah.. this is ROB's time.. better just leave him alone.. so then the 4 of us went on the chocolate world ride.. and i had a small little mb20 poster with me so i pulled it out and at the end of the ride they take your picture.. so i held up the picture and then when you walk out u can see your photo and puchase it if you want to .. and krissy and deb bought it and the lady is looking at our photo and she sees the poster and she is like.. oh are you going to the show tonite and we are like yeah! and she is like.. that guy [rob] was just on this ride and we are like really!! and she is like you want to see his picture? and we practically screamed.. YES!! so she pulls up his picture on the screen and we all busted up laughing.. it was jason, marisol and rob in the back and a hershey park secruity girl in the front.. jason was smiling.. marisol had a hat on and glasses but was smiling and rob looked like a freaking deer in headlights.. his eyes were all big and bulgy and he looked like he had no idea what was going on.. it was GREAT!!! PART TWO: the concert Ok.. nothing else really exciting happened after our chocolate world experience.. so we headed into the stadium and found our seats. At 7:00, Seven Mary Three came on the stage and they were pretty good.. then Train followed and they were excellent... the lead singer, Pat, was crazy.. he kept doing these funny little dances and shaking his ass and we were all cracking up.. After that is was of course time for the boys... I had my camera out and ready to go.. despite the fact that security were being !@%~#%!@~ about cameras.. but i was like.. oh well.. it's for the good of matchbox... They opened with Crutch and i love them. lol. They played all the same stuff that they did last tour.. but they had 2 new cover songs.. but i couldn't tell u the names of them.. even tho i knew them. Krissy had made a small sign that said Hi Adam on it.. and he saw it and smiled at us.. then on the other side she wrote "SMILE!" and he saw it.. stopped singing.. and smiled and i snapped a picture.. then we all thought that it was really funny. Rob was being all sorts of sexual all nite long and needless to say i was having problems.. i took 4 rolls of film of pictures!!!!! ~*~ YES I'M OBSESSED.. NO WAIT.. UM. I JUST LIKE THEM A LOT OK? ~*~ i didn't just take pictures of rob tho as u all are probably thinking.. lol.. i took lots of picture of the other boys.. and even got some of pauly when he walked down from his drums. I think the coolest part of the show was during Mad Season when a gigantic light up 20 appears in the background and there was this like camcorder backstage and rob was singing into it.. and you could see his face on the screen that they had onstage and it was so funny and then a disco ball came down from the ceiling and it was so COOL!!!!!!! i love them so much! it was the most energetic show i've seen them do and it was fabulous!!
