SMILEAGAIN20 - Me and the person I went with got up early that morning... we were so excited to be going to see our boys and we hoped to meet them that day!! We watched that Cardio-video show on VH1 and PUSH came on! Needless to say, we freaked out and cried. hehe :) We left for the show around 12 because we couldn't sit still anymore. When we got there we stood by this fenced in area where we knew the tour buses would be pulling in. We saw the guys from Semisonic walk by and we yelled and they waved. We waited for approximately 3 or 4 hours when my friend was about to give up hope. But I knew they would be there soon. Sure enough around 4:30, 2 buses came pulling up the street. I started crying of course, because I am so emotional. Pauly was the first off the bus. He came right over to the fence and started talking to us [there was about 10 of us]. He had bright pink hair and was holding Arizona Green Tea [yum!]. Next came Adam. He was so funny [and tall] LOL! He also had Green Tea. Next came Rob. I started hyperventalating when he stepped off the bus, [no lie, i probably looked like the biggest moron] but i was in awe of being that close to my biggest inspriation!! I gave Rob a little stuffed puppy dog with a note attached and asked him and the other guys to sign my cd liner. I remember asking Adam to go on the bus and get Brian becuz my friend was a HUGE pookie fan and needed to talk to him and give him something she had made for him.. and he did it! ADAM YOU'RE AND ANGEL. Brian came out and he was really awesome! He talked to my friend for like 15 mintues. Kyle was the last to come out and he is so cute!! He was like... "Are you okay?" and i was like.. "yeah, i'm just really excited." LOL. I am such a geek! but he asked me where I was from and stuff like that. They were all really awesome and down to earth! After they left to go into soundcheck.. I fell down on my knees on the pavement and just sobbed. I never felt such a wave of emotion in all my life. It was amazing. We went and stood in line then to get into the venue. I cried for about another half hour why we were waiting in line. LOL. When we got inside, we managed to get right up front inbetween Rob and Adam. The show was awesome. They started with Argue. They also sang "Dear Joan" and "You and I and I" When they sang Shame, which is my favorite mb20 song, I was crying so much, I couldn't see the stage. It is an experience that I will never forget and was definitly the best day of my life!!!
