An active week for Eminem on monday august 21 2000, less than a week after the grammy winning rapper sought to end his 14 month marriage with Kim Mathers. His estranged wife sued him for ten million dollars and claimed that he was unfit to handle even partial custudy of their four year old daughter Hallie. In Kims legal papers, she addressed the collapse of the couples marriage, which apparently broke down for good with Eminems arrest on june 4, 2000 outside a suburban Detroit night club. Police said he used an unloaded gun to assault a man kissed by Kim. Kim has claimed that she gave the man an innocent peck on the cheek.According to her legal papers, the couple had seperated that night and since then, Eminem (whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III).Has spen only three nights at the couples home.
