Welcome to my Neon Genesis Evangelion page. If you are new to anime, Neon Genesis Evangelion (Usually referred as Evangelion or NG Eva) is the most widely known of the anime Genre. I recommend you watch this first before any other anime series or TV Series. It has an unusual plot and sick and twisted (but not gross) animation, but believe me, it is worthwhile.

Story Summary

This is the story of the battle for the last stage of evolution of mankind between humans and "angels" (the true translation of them is something like "apostles", but since the TV series uses "angels", I'll stick with it). What happened is that God didn't like the fact that humans decided to evolve using cloning so "He" tested them by sending 12 angels to destroy the Humans and thus not allowing them to evolve into the next level.  3 Evas

 Rei Ayanami

Rei Ayanami

Unusually shy and apathetic, she remains a mystery to those around her (that don't know the truth) Constantly alone, she doesn't tend to show much emotion, almost as if she didn't have a soul, but at the same time, acts like a robot in carrying out orders that have been given to her, despite her physical condition. She has a nice, soft voice that everyone loves and her apathy shines right through and hair that everyone loves.

There are a total of 13 tapes (26 episodes) and 2 movies about Evangelion. There are a lot more manga (Japanese Comic books) than I can even imagine, so I just stick with the anime. Some of the merchandise is excellent. Right now there is a Card game that my friend Mark is collecting, but has failed to find any in the US. It's kin of like playing the Pokémon card game.
