At the end of the school year, fifth graders, sixth graders, and seventh graders are able to attend a vocal try out for the Guitar Group the next year. All Guitar Group members must maintain a "C" average in all of their classes in order to stay a member of the Guitar Group. Members must maintain good grades to remain eligable to perform and give song introductions. This policy goes for all Guitar Group members, no matter how important they are to the group. Some members take lessons from Mr. Moore, the director, to play instruments such as the Drums, Keyboard, or Guitar. Some students are also in a class called "Beginning Guitar" during the same period in the same classrom where they learn to play accoustic guitar and bass guitar until they master it to the point that they are admitted into the Guitar Group as guitar or bass guitar players.
