TRIBULATION! A FRESH LOOK

Jesus gave us as a sign-post that we are entering into an era of unprecedented horror in Mark 13:19-20: "For in those days shall be AFFLICTION, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. And EXCEPT that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved [alive Moffart Translation]; BUT FOR THE ELECT'S SAKE, WHOM HE HAS CHOSEN, he has shortened the days."

In summary:

A) We will enter into a time period of the most horrible series of events the world has ever experienced. This has become possible with the advent of nuclear weapons enough to erase life off 50 to 100 earth's. This has also become possible with genetically engineered germs and viruses called "chemical-biological" weapons of mass destruction. But that's not all. B) We know for a fact that the earth had some type of destruction before it was renewed and man placed on the planet as described in Genesis 1 and 2. We know the earth was split - meaning land masses separated - in the days of Peleg according to Genesis 10:25. Something caused it naturally or God did it supernaturally.

When Jerusalem falls to other nation's armies -probably the United Nations, notice what else is transpiring that will be a sign-post that we are in the LAST DAYS. Luke 21:25-26: "And there shall be SIGNS in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity [Greek - "to have no way out]; the sea and the waves roaring: Men's hearts failing them for fear, and looking after those things WHICH ARE COMING ON THE EARTH: for the POWERS of heaven shall be shaken."

Something people will see with their own eyes will CAUSE heart attacks and panic. It says here that it will be signs FROM the heavens. Something will CAUSE gravitational pull on the seas to create huge waves slashing into the metropolitan cities on the coastlines and sinking ships, destroying harbors. It will be visible. People will think it is to be an extinction level event as was with the dinosaurs. THEY WILL BE HELPLESS TO PREVENT IT.

All reputable astronomers and scientists admit that something is OUT THERE just beyond Neptune, Jupiter and Pluto that is causing "perturbation" - or irregularities of their orbits. It's now been admitted they have found another planet, but where will its orbit be? Could its orbit interfere with earth's orbit? Isaiah concludes that something will CAUSE planet earth problems! He does not say what, but we are told to watch in Matthew 24:42.

Isa. 24:1-6: "Behold, the Lord makes [allows] the earth [to become] empty, and makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad the inhabitants thereof [verse 2 says every human will be affected equally] The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the Lord has spoken this word. The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled [polluted] under the inhabitants thereof BECAUSE they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant [see Genesis 17:1-7 and Hebrews 13:20-21]. Therefore has the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are BURNED [How? - WHY?], and few men left."

Let's summarize: A) God will allow some giant tragedy to occur because He has the power to stop it OR allow it. Whatever this effect is will alter the land masses. Giant, global earthquakes could erupt because of the gravitational pull of this object that effects earth. Cracks, possibly miles wide, could occur which would allow massive flooding, diversion of rivers, shifting of mountain ranges, sinking of some land areas and the rise of others. Volcanic activity could cause atmospheric changes for months or years shorten or eliminate growing seasons, cover cities and villages with magma. Obviously, sin is why God will allow this to happen.

V.18-20:"...for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved [WHY?], the earth is moved exceedingly THE EARTH SHALL REEL TO AND FRO LIKE A DRUNKARD, AND SHALL BE REMOVED LIKE A COTTAGE; and the transgression shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall and not rise again."

B) It states clearly that all the laws that holds earth in its proper orbit will be affected to allow it to wobble out of its orbit. Something with a strong gravitational pull will of necessity interfere with earth's normal rotational patterns. It's called in the scientific community "perturbation." Once again, the time setting is when God will punish the fallen angels and the kings of the earth - V.21-23 - just before Christ will reign.

Rev. 20:1-4 confirms this statement. "And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which IS the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations NO more, TILL the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

Evidence of Past Extinction Level Events

Cuvier (1769-1832), the founder of vertebrate paleontology, or the science of petrified skeletons of animals possessing vertebrae, from fish to man, was much impressed by the picture presented by the sequence of the layers of earth. "When the traveller passes over these fertile plains where gently flowing streams nourish in their course an abundant vegetation, and where the soil, inhabited by a numerous population, adorned with flourishing villages, opulent cities, and superb monuments, is never disturbed, except by the ravages of war, or by the oppression of the powerful, he is not led to suspect Nature also has her intestine wars, and that the surface of the globe has been broken up by revolutions and CATASTROPHIES. But his ideas CHANGE as soon as he digs into that Soil which now presents so peaceful an aspect" (6. Cuvier, Essay on the Theory of the Earth [5th edition, 1827]).

Cuvier thought that GREAT CATASTROPHIES had taken place on this earth, repeatedly changing sea beds into continents and continents into sea beds. He held that general [capability to be produced] and species were unchangeable since Creation; but, observing different animal remains in various levels of earth, he concluded that catastrophies must have annihilated life in vast areas, leaving the ground for other forms of life. Where did these other genera come from? Either they were NEWLY created or, more likely they migrated from other parts of the world, which were not at that time also visited by cataclysms.

Cuvier could not find the CAUSE of these cataclysms. He did realize that in order to resolve it satisfactorily, it would be necessary to discover the cause of these events.

The theory of evolution, which can be traced to Aristotle, and which was the teaching of Lamarck in the days of Cuvier and of Darwin after him, has been generally accepted as truth by natural sciences for over a hundred fifty years. However, it is NOT truth - only a theory, which means "we THINK" but NO proof.

Sedimentary rock covers high mountains - the highest of all - the Himalayas. Shells and skeletons of sea animals are found there. This means that at some early time fish swam over these mountains. What CAUSED the mountains to rise?

A force pushing from within or pulling from without or twisting on the sides must have elevated the mountains and lifted continents from the bottom of the sea and submerged other landmasses. If we do not know what these forces are, we cannot answer the problem of the origin of the mountains and of continents.

Even authors of textbooks confess their ignorance. They don't know WHY sea floors of ancient times have become the lofty high-mountains of today? What generates the enormous forces that bend, break, and mash the rocks in mountain zones? These questions still await satisfactory answers say the scientists! Scientists say there have been "ice ages." It can not be so, as they can't explain "scientifically" what could have caused the evaporation and immediately freezing? It is even admitted that this process is still a baffling mystery. The north of Siberia is the coldest place in the world. WHY DID NOT THE "ICE AGE" TOUCH THIS REGION IF IT EVER EXISTED? Evolutionists can't answer!

The Mammoths

Northeast Siberia, which was NOT covered by ice in the so-called Ice Age, conceals another enigma. The climate there has apparently changed drastically since the end of the so-called Ice Age. Animals once lived in this region that DO NOT live there now, and plants grew there that are unable to grow there now. The change MUST have occurred quite suddenly. The cause of this sudden change has NOT been explained. In this catastrophic change of climate and under mys-terious circumstances, ALL THE MAM-MOTHS OF SIBERIA PERISHED WHY?

The mammoth belonged to the family of elephants. Its tusks were sometimes as much as ten feet long. Its teeth were highly developed, and their "density" was greater than in any stage of the so-called evolution of the elephant/mammoth family; apparently they did not succumb [or die] in the so-called struggle for survival as an unfit product of the false theory of evolution. Tusks of mammoths have been found in large numbers in northeast Siberia; this well-preserved ivory has been an object of export to China and Europe ever since the Russian conquest of Siberia and was exploited in earlier times. In modern times the ivory market of the world has still found its main source of supply in the tundras of northeast Siberia.

In 1799 the frozen bodies of mammoths were found in these tundras. The corpses were well preserved, and the sledge dogs ate the flesh unharmed. "The flesh is fibrous and marbled with fat" and "looks as fresh as well frozen beef" (B. Digby, The Mammoth [1926], p.9, observations of D.F. Hertz).

What was the cause of their death and the extinction of their race?

Cuvier wrote of the extinction of the mammoths:

Repeated irruptions and retreats of the sea have neither all been slow nor gradual [as evolutionists claim]; on the con-trary, MOST of the catastrophies which have occasioned them have been SUDDEN; and this is especially easy to be proved with regard to the last of these catastrophes, that which, by a twofold motion, has inundated, and afterwards laid dry, our present continents, or at least a part of the land which forms them at the present day. In the northern regions it has left the carcasses of large quadrupeds which became enveloped in the ice, and have thus been preserved even to our own times, WITH their skin, their hair, and their flesh. If they had not been frozen as soon as killed, they would have been DECOMPOSED bv putrefaction. And, on the other hand, this eternal frost could not previously have occupied the places in which they were seized by it, for the)' could not have lived in such a temperature. It was, therefore, at ONE AND THE SAME MOMENT that these animals were destroyed and the country which they inhabited became covered with ice.

The theory of repeated catastrophies annihilating life on this planet and repeated creations or restorations of life offered by Deluc (J.A. Deluc [1727-1817], Letters on the Physical History of the Earth [1831]) and expanded upon by Cuvier, did NOT convince the scientific world.

The Bible, at least in one scripture, indicates a destruction and RE-CREATION! "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was [or became as the original Hebrew indicates] without form [Hebrew "to'hoo" meaning to lie in desolation] and void [Hebrew "bo'hoo" meaning to be empty and lie in undistinguishable ruin]; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters" (Genesis 1:1-2). Also notice one of Jesus' first jobs when He returns in glory as King of kings and Lord of lords to establish the Kingdom of God: "And he [the Father] shall send Jesus Christ... Whom the heaven must receive UNTIL THE RESTITUTION OF ALL THINGS, which God has spoken hy the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began" (Acts 3:20-21). The indication is that Jesus must REPAIR a damaged earth. WHAT caused the damage? Nuclear war, chemical/biological weapons? OR a close encounter with something FROM space?

Darwin

Like Lamarck before Cuvier, Charles Darwin after him thought that an exceedingly slow evolutional process governs genetics, and that there were NO CATASTRO-PHIES interrupting this process of infinitesimal changes. According to the theory of evolution, these minute changes came as a result of adaptation to living conditions in the struggle of the species for survival.

Darwin admitted that he was unable to find an explanation for the extermination of the mam-moth, an animal better developed than the elephant which survived (G.E Kunz, Ivory and the Elephant in Art, in Archaeology, and in Science, [1916], p. 236). Darwin's theory of evolution cannot be true BECAUSE the mammoths were not isolated on hills with slow moving ice surrounding them and cause them to die of starvation. In their stomachs and between their teeth undigested grass and leaves were found. THIS TOO, PROVES THAT THEY DIED FROM A SUDDEN CAUSE - A CATASTROPHE.

Further investigation showed that the leaves and twigs found in their stomachs DO NOT GROW in the regions where the animals died, but far to the south, a thousand or more miles away. It is apparent that the climate has changed radically since the death of the mammoths; and as the bodies of the animals were found NOT decomposed but WELL preserved in blocks of ice, the change in temperature must have followed their death very closely OR even CAUSED it. There remains to be added that after Storms in the Arctic, tusks of mammoths are washed up on the shores of arctic islands; this proves that a part of the land where the mammoths lived and were drowned is covered by the Arctic Ocean.

Nearly Every Civilization Records Extinction Level Event Catastrophes Anaximenes and Anaximander in the sixth pre- Christian century, and Diogenes of Apollonia in the fifth century, assumed the destruction of the world with a subsequent recreation. Even the oldest Biblical book - Genesis -says after God created man and woman: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply and REPLENISH the earth..." (Genesis 1:28). The original Hebrew word translated replenish means to fill" - in this case "to Refill." That means it was once filled, but an extinction level event took place that annihilated all life -whatever kind it might have been. WHAT WAS THIS EVENT?

In old tradition, and a very persistent one, says a world age went down in catastrophe. This tradition was found in the Americas among the Incas (H.B. Alexander, Latin American Mythology [1920], p. 240). The Aztecs and Mayas had their accounts of catastrophes that decimated the world (Humboldt, Researches, 11, 15). A major part of stone inscriptions found in the Yucatan refer to world catastrophes. Codices of Mexico and Indian authors who composed the annals of their past give a prominent place to the tradition of world catastrophes that decimated humankind and changed the face of the earth. A tradition of creations and catastrophes is found in the Pacific - Hawaii and the island of Polynesia. Icelanders also believe in a destructive past for the earth as contained in the Edda (The Poetic Edda: Voluspa [translated from the Icelandic by H.A. Bellows, 1923], 2nd stanza).

There is no doubt about it, great catastrophes have changed the face of the earth. [Some of the proceeding came from Worlds in Collision].

The prophecies contained in the Bible are of CAT-ASTROPHIC proportions. Could it just be nuclear war or chemical/biological wars that these prophecies could be talking about? NO! Here's why! Scientists admit that dinosaurs died SUDDENLY. Just a few quotes will suffice. "...the continents drifted together into the supercontinent of Pangea;...the first dinosaurs dwelt there.. .The dinosaurs' reign ended suddenly Pangea's breakup gradually isolated its animal populations on separate continents, where they develop in separate ways [Editor's note: What caused this supercontinent to breakup?]. They die out - a MASS EXTINCTION caused by plate motion

NASA Reveals - NASA Conceals

On December 31,1983 NASA reported discovering what was termed Planet X. X is the Roman numeral for ten therefore, the Tenth Planet in our solar system. They very excitedly released this story to 6 daily newspapers. This announcement was made by the chief scientist of the Infrared Astronomical Satellite [IRAS]. They believed they had found the cause of Pluto, Jupiter, and Uranus' orbits being affected. It is called in the scientific field "perturbation" meaning irregularities in their orbit. Something with a very powerful gravitational pull was causing their orbits to act out of character. Suddenly, the controllers of the mass media pulled a curtain of secrecy over this information. Whether this was ordered by the Federal Government because of what they discovered or not is unclear. Could they have discovered a planet with a very unusual orbital pattern that brings it close enough to the earth to cause major havoc? Is this WHY they suddenly put it under top secrecy - so as not to panic the world's population?

Only the largest telescopes that are controlled by the Federal Government could have seen Planet X UNTIL 2001. It was easy to cover up this NEW found threat to earth's population UNTIL it became visible in 2001 by smaller observatories. To divert attention away from the possibility of an Extinction Level Event heading toward earth, they announced they had found the "Largest Asteroid in history August, 2001." Because of the mid-level observatories beginning to mention that they had spotted SOMETHING OUT THERE, Newsweek Magazine, December 31, 2001/ January 7, 2002, finally admitted that they had discovered a small planet [picture below]. The population is NOT to understand the import of this discovery. However, the Bible verses at the beginning of this magazine make clear something will happen with terrible results. Will the govern-ments of this earth continue to hide these facts to protect the people? Only time will tell us for sure!

Letting the Cat Out of the Bag

With the potential of an extinction level event coming in the near future, it would seem difficult to keep it under wraps. More than likely, governments would share informa-tion about such a big event. They would probably discuss the mutual survival of their countries.

Russian leaders, whether deliberately or not, let some of this information gel out. Europe's Reuters news service had this to report on September 13,2000: "Anticipated Chain of Disasters Due to Hit in 2003" and "Massive Population Shrinkage." It was reported that leaders wondered out loud with the microphone on during a parliamentary meeting if Russia would even exist as a country after this event. Meanwhile, on this side of the world, an astronomer who wanted to disclose this information to the public by the name of Dr. Harrington of the United States Naval Observatory met with an early so-called accidental death According to close associates, this happened to him because of his adamant demand for open disclosure of the finding of this 10th Planet. Those in charge of this world indicated they do not want open disclosure because it would probably lead to a worldwide collapse of the financial markets. The Bible does _ not say what causes a financial collapse, but it sure predicts that one is coming. Revelation 6:5-6 describes the Third �Horse of the Apocalypse by saying he had a pair of balances in his hand. ... A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see you hurt not the oil and the wine."

NASA Reveals

Could any human mind conceive of an event occurring to planet earth that God would allow that could reduce the population by 90% in many areas? Isaiah said this under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. "Then said I Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, he admitted being a sinner], and I dwell in the middle of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have SEEN the King, the Lord of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphim unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin is purged. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall_I send, and who Will GO for us?) Then said I, Here am I; SEND ME. [TO DO AND SAY WHAT?] And he said, Go, and tell this people, hear you indeed, but understand not; and see you indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat. and make their ears heavy, and SHUT their eyes; lest they see with their eves, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. [God was deliberately blinding the people - WHY?] Then said I, Lord, HOW LONG [should they be blinded]? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate. And the Lord have REMOVED men far away [allowed it to happen], and there be a great forsaking in the middle of the land. But yet in it shall be A TENTH [10%], and it shall return...so the holy seed [Israel] shall be the substance thereof' (Isaiah 6:5-13).

There is absolutely NOTHING anyone can do to survive EXCEPT REPENT of violating God's Everlasting Covenant and seek Divine Protection. "Watch you therefore, and pray always, that you may be ACCOUNTED WORTHY TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS THAT SHALL COME TO PASS, and to stand before the Son of man" (Luke 21:36).

Our sun's 10th Planet disrupts the surface of EVERY planet in our solar system as it passes on its regular orbit. Earth is not singled out. As Isaiah prophesied, only 10% could live through the disruption of the planet when it passes by. It only comes every so many thousands of years. This is WHY we should want to be one of the 144,000 who are to be sealed in Revelation 7.

A GREAT Earthquake

As men carry on their wars for food and o~ supplies, persecution of the saints will become stronger in every nation; then as this planet approaches our solar system, earth will begin to feel the gravitational pull of it. It is explained in the Book of Revelation: And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was A GREAT EARTHQUAKE and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair and the moon became as blood and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth [natural occurrences as you gaze through the dense soot and smoke billowing skyward], even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind and EVERY mountain and island were moved out of their places. (Revelation 6:12-14). This gravitational pull will set the earthquake band known as the Ring of Fire in motion.

Islands will be moved, some sink, others formed, mountains collapse or moved slightly, and others will break in two.

Several Observatory Sightings in Early 2001!

In 1983, this strange Planet X, was first spotted by the IRAS (Infrared Astronomical Satellite). Since then there has been a complete blackout of its existence. Something -we could call this Planet X - has now come too close to cover up from smaller telescopes. For the first time in 2001, sightings of this strange object they call Planet X has been recorded openly from different parts of the world -observatories in South America, Switzerland, and Arizona. LowelI Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona: April 4, 2001,03:06:45, Wed: The operator described the object as diffuse and approximate magnitude 11. Neuchatel Observatory in Switzerland: Wed, 07 Feb 2001 23:30:32+0100. They were very excited, wonder-ing if it was a comet or a brown dwarf. A team was contacting every observatory in France. Then, for some unknown reason, denials started coming forth.

The 12th Planet by Zacharia Sitchin

The British have been some of the greatest explorers especially in archeology. They have amassed a wealth of information in their libraries and museums. They have discovered that many past civilizations have explained so-called Planet X's orbit length and even described what damaging effects it has upon earth when it passes close enough for its gravitational field to affect us.

Zacharia Sitchin, who is a New Ager but highly knowledgeable scientist, wrote about some of those effects in his book The 12th Planet. Many historians of Astronomy are aware of the legends of a so-called "Star or Comet of Doom," or as some call it - "Nemesis." According to these men's writings, the passing of this planet close to earth brings with it debris, meteors, asteroids and upheavals of the earth's crust - mountains shifting, islands sinking and others rising, landmasses splitting, some landmasses flooded and ocean bottoms become dry land. Understanding what CHANGES Earth will exper-ience and when the changes start in relationship to the objects passage close to earth will be helpful in knowing how soon we will be affected again. This is an enormous subject that is very frightening. In addition to all the previous scriptures that show something of great magnitude is coming, notice one more: And these are the words that the Lord spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah. For thus says the Lord: We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace [war]. Ask you now, and see whether a man does travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and ALL faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great, NONE is like it" Jeremiah 30:4-7). Could these verses entail MORE that the possibility of nuclear war'? Could they also entail the heavenly signs that causes the oceans to roar and men's hearts failing them as described in Luke 21?

Ice Age! When?

Something CAUSES the poles and ice to shift to various parts of the globe. There never was an ice age that happened over a long period of time as evolutionist try to make us believe. That is a FACT proven by the flash freeze of the great mammoths which have been found with tropical food still in their stomachs and mouths showing that it happened INSTANTLY. Earth's crust slips over its molten core periodically as this Planet X or Tenth Planet passes because of the tremendous gravitational pull. This strange Planet is estimated to be 4-5 times the mass of the earth, therefore, greater in gravitational pull. The results are shifts of the poles within an hour, very suddenly, to different locations. This explains the sudden extinction of the mammoths IN TROPICAL areas. All life where the new poles settle freezes instantly. Notice this Reuters release for Friday, September 7, 2001, entitled 'Arctic may not have been icy in Ice Age." In part it reads: 'An international team of scientists said this week they had discovered stone artifacts; reindeer, wolf, and horse bones; and a mammoth tusk with human-made marks on a dig at Mamontovaya Kurya in the northern reaches of Russia. The finds are the oldest documented evidence of human activity so tar north. The bones and artifacts found suggest that the northeast must have been relatively dry and ice free in this period of the Ice Age," archeologist John Gowlett said, commenting on the research in the scientific journal Nature.

Sumerian Descriptions of Our Solar System

The nearly 6,OOO year old. Sumerian descriptions of our solar system includes one more planet they name The word Nibiru translates into "Planet of the crossing." Their description of this planet matches perfectly with the specifications of "Planet X" or The Tenth Planet. Their description suggested an elliptical, comet-like orbit that takes Planet X DEEP into space, well beyond the orbit of Pluto. This is being confirmed with modern advances in science. The Sumerians left actual diagrams on well-preserved tablets that the British have located, which describes our solar system with pinpoint accuracy. The only difference is that it shows ONE MORE PLANET with this elliptical orbit.

United States Naval Observatory Calculations

Recent calculations by the United States Naval Observatory has confirmed the "wobbling" or orbital perturbation that is being exhibited by Uranus and Neptune.

Dr. Thomas C. Van Flandern, an astronomer at the observatory, says the only explanation for these planets wobbling is "a single planet." He an a colleague, Dr. Richard Harrington, calculated that the 10th planet must be 2-5 times larger than Earth, and it has a highly elliptical orbit that takes it more than 5 billion miles past Pluto.

In January 1981, several daily newspapers stated that Pluto's orbit indicates that Planet X exists. The report stated that an astronomer from the U.S. Naval Observatory told a meeting of the American Astronomical Society that irregularities in the orbit of Pluto indicates that the solar system contains a 10th planet. He also noted that this information came as no surprise to Zecharia Sitch in, whose book came Out three years before.

In 1982, NASA officially recognized the existence of Planet X with an announcement: An object is really there far beyond the outermost planets." Today, NASA is silent about Planet X. WHY? Do they know something that would panic the world as Bible prophecy indicates?

Something OUT THERE beyond the furthest reaches of the known solar system is tugging at Uranus and Neptune. A gravitational force keeps perturbing the two giant planets, causing irreg-ularities in their orbits. The FORCE suggests a presence far away and unseen a LARGE OBJECT, the long-sought Planet X There are mathematical irregularities in the orbits of the outer planets. Astronomers are so certain of this planet's existence that they have already named it "Planet X - the 10th Planet."

Planet X Has Been Sighted!

In 1983 the newly launched IRAS [Infrared Astronomical Satellite] quickly found Planet X. This is a summary by the Washington Post from the chief IRAS scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory [JPL] in California: "A heavenly body as large as Jupiter and part of this solar system has been found in the direction of the constellation of Orion by an orbiting telescope."

The telescope found right where it was thought to be. These scientists had known of its existence and location for years, but wanted to confirm it with our advanced technological eyes.

Notice a few other headlines: "Mystery Body Found in Space," "Giant Object Mystifies Astronomers," "At Solar Systems Edge Giant Object is a Mystery." "When IRAS scientists first saw the mystery body, they calculated that it could be as close as 50 billion miles and MOVING TOWARDS EARTH." Clyde Tombaugh was given credit for discovering Pluto in 1930. Christie, of the U.S. Naval Observatory, discovered Charon, Pluto's moon, in 1978. According to astronomers, the characteristics of Pluto derived from Pluto and its moon Charon lies far from the sun. The nature of its moon, Charon, demonstrated that there must still be a large planet undiscovered be-cause Pluto could not be the cause of the "wobbles" in the orbital paths of Uranus and Neptune that are clearly identifiable. The In-frared Astrono-mical Satellite [IRAS], during 1983-84, produc-ed observations of a tenth planet so robust that one of the astronomers on the project said that "all that remains is to name it" - from which point the information has become very secret.

In 1992, Dr. Harrington and Van Flandern of the Naval Observatory published their findings and opinion that there IS a tenth planet. They even called it an "intruder" planet. Dr. Andersen, of the Jet Propulsion Laboratories, stated his belief that Planet X could possibly be verified any time. The search was narrowed to the southern skies, below the ecliptic. Dr. Harrington invited Zecharia Sitchin from Britain to a meeting at his office. He had read Sitchin's book and translations of the Enuma Elish. They put together current findings with the ancient records. Harrington acknowledged the details of the ancient records as to WHERE the tenth planet is located in the solar system. It is interesting that Dr. Harrington sent a telescope to Black Birch, New Zealand to get visual confirmation. All his data convinced him that the planet would be below the ecliptic in the southern skies at that point in its orbit. Suddenly, Dr. Harrington died, and the telescope was immediately called back. As one observer noted, "almost before he was cold." (The Alien Question: An Expanded Perspective, by Neil Freer).

What obvious message could be sent to Sitchin, Van Flandern and anyone else in the know about Planet X when Dr. Harrington met with an untimely, early death at the SAME time the telescope was being recalled? Accidental [?] deaths can carry an important meaning to people at certain times!!! Suddenly, people become very closed mouthed about what they know if they perceive their accidental death is next. A cover-up was under way! Why did the powers that be want this covered up?

Nemesis Theory - OR - Nemesis Fact?

In 1985, numerous astronomers were thinking seriously about what had become known as the "Nemesis Theory." This was proposed by Walter Alverez of the University of California in more recent years. His father was Nobel Prize winning physicist Luis Alvarez. They noticed regular EXTINCTION of various species [including the dinosaurs], and proposed that a comet, "Death Star," OR planet periodically brings with it a shower of meteors and small comet-like objects that wreak havoc, death and destruction to the inner Solar System - INCLUDING Earth!!! In August 1988, a report by Dr. Robert S. Harrington of the U.S. Naval Laboratory calculated that this planets mass is probably FOUR times that of Earth. It could possibly be 100 times as dense as Earth. In the astronomical field this planet is called a smoldering brown dwarf. When Planet X passes between earth and our sun, earth will align itself to the intruder planets strong magnetic or gravitational field temporarily - instead of the sun's.

For a brief period, Planet X would [will] be earth's strongest gravitational influence. The prophecies mentioned from the bible thus far begin to make sense with this information. Earth's rotation could pause for a few days. In ancient historical writings this has been regarded as myth; but with this discovery, the controllers of NASA are now fully aware of it being a past reality and a future reality as well.

Planet X's orbit takes it back and forth between two suns. Apparently, our sun has a twin that lies in the direction of Orion. The twin sun is a dark or dead sun that does not revolve around our sun like most twins suns do. This Planet X's orbit is extremely long, taking about 3,660 years or so. That's why modern man has thought the ancient descriptions of this movement was myth. This planet is one of our family of planets in our solar system. Only very powerful and expensive telescopes or deep space probes can see the other sun. This has made it easy to hide the fact of its existence from the general popula-tion. This was one of the reasons for the launching of the Hubble telescope - to see if something is coming toward earth.

New Science and Invention Encyclopedia

The diagram below appeared in the 1987 edition of the New Science and Invention Encyclopedia published by H.S. Stuttman, Westport, Connecticut, USA. The Encyclopedia article discussed the purpose of the Pioneer 10 and 11 space probes. The Encyclopedia c/early shows on its diagram our suns dark twin Dead Star AND Planet X. There was no mention of any controversy about these objects being out there nor what the probes saw - the Dead Sun and Planet X. When a planet's orbit is between two suns, instead of around one, that orbit is a bit peculiar. It spends 99% of its time going between the suns. After the half-way point, it speeds up going toward the sun it is approaching As this planet - called Planet X - passes the half-way point in its orbit toward our sun, it will begin to gain momentum - speed. As it gets closer it will begin to race in its orbit to its turn around point between the earth and sun.

Ancient History or Myth?

When we understand that this Planet X brings chaos, destruction and death, we can begin to realize that many stories of old that are labeled as myths are REAL. We just didn't comprehend HOW it was possible until now! History is replete with the ruins of gone-by civilizations. But what happened to them? What caused their destruction? What happened to their people?

We have all heard of the legends of Atlantis, Lumeria, Mayans and others that supposedly are now covered with the oceans and seas. The population just dis-appeared or the continent was abandoned. WHY? Every time Planet X passes by earth the poles shift, lands sink ocean beds become land areas, whole species of animals become extinct, volcanoes erupt, large earthquakes break forth, 200 mile an hour winds devastate the land and people etc. Why, if these are just myths, do sunken lands exist today off Florida, Japan, the Mediterranean, Africa and other places? Most of the population in the past did not draw the conclusion that what they saw overhead - a large comet-like sight in the sky - with what they were experiencing on earth - volcanoes erupting, earthquakes, land masses sinking in one area and rising in another, TIDAL WAVES, severe weather, FIRES, floods, droughts and the accompanying food shortages.

Tribulation - But Non-Religious

The Bible shows clearly there will be religious persecution of the saints (Revelation 6:9-11 Revelation 13:7; Matthew 24 Mark 13: Luke 21), But it also indicates from the scriptures quoted before in the magazine that there can be non-religious tribulation. To be exact, it is AFTER a religious persecution that a giant earthquake takes place (Revelation 6:9-end of the chapter). THEN something spectacular transpires.

"And AFTER these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, that the wind should NOT blow on the earth [WHAT WIND?], nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, HAVING THE SEAL OF THE LIVING GOD: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it WAS GIVEN TO HURT THE EARTH AND THE SEA, saying, Hurt NOT the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, TILL we have SEAL-ED the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed...[144,OOO]..."(Revelation 7:1-4). Here is des-cribed the earth, sea and vegetation upon it about to be HURT in some way. It will take Divine intervention FOR PROTECT-ION from what is coming. It says this 144,000 were sealed. The Greek word from which this English word was translated means to "hedge about as to keep in secret; not to misappropriate." BUT WHAT WILL THIS GROUP WHO OBEY GOD BE PROTECTED FROM EXPERIENCING???

Notice one other scripture. It is concerning the Philadelphia church that KEPT God's word and did not compromise. "BECAUSE you have kept the word of my patience, I [Jesus] will KEEP YOU FROM THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION, WHICH SHALL COME UPON ALL THE WORLD, to try them that dwell upon the earth" (Revelation 3., 10). The word FROM in the Webster's Unabridged Dictionary means, "KEEP OUT OF CONTACT WITH." What is this Divinely Protected group of Revelation 3:10 and Revelation 7:1-4 kept out of contact with that will TRY the remainder of the world? What is it that Psalms 91 says we will see with our eyes- a thousand will fall on one hand and 10,000 on the other hand - but it will not touch the protected of God? And when he had opened the seventh seal.. The first angel [trumpet] sounded... [the perfect description of a meteorite or comet]...And the second angel [trumpet] sounded... [the perfect description of an asteroid catching fire as it enters the atmosphere, thus friction, of the earth and starts burning and hits in the sea].. .And the third angel [trumpet] sounded... [what follows is the description of a second asteroid that hits land and destroys fresh water springs, creeks, tributaries that mankind depends upon for fresh drinking water]..." (Revelation 8:1-11).

Apparently, these intrusions into the atmosphere of planet earth are CAUSED by something with a great gravitational pull. Could it be Planet X? It seems that it fits the description of ancient writings and the Bible prophecies we have discussed thus far.

But what about the fourth trumpet of Revelation 8?

With the tremendous collision of earth and two asteroids and a comet or meteorite, ALL volcanoes will erupt at the same time. The belching of smoke, soot, dust and magma into the atmosphere will produce a near blackout of the Sun, moon, and stars. Notice now the description given in Revelation 8:12 - 'And the fourth angel [trumpet] sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten [couldn't see it], and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part Of them was darkened [blocked from view], and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise'.

Think what has now happened. The Philadelphia church was told "the HOUR" of temptation is what they would be protected from experiencing. Scientists confirm that polar shifts have occurred in the past. What was once the poles shifted in a matter of ONE HOUR to another location on earth. This caused INSTANT death to all people and animals in the new polar region because of the FLASH FREEZE. God has promised to protect this group and seal 144,000 to also receive protection FROM this sudden event as Planet X passes by earth.

Remember Jesus' words: 'For THEN shall be GREAT TRIBULATION, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And EXCEPT THOSE DAYS SHOULD BE SHORTENED, THERE SHOULD NO FLESH BE SAVED [Moffatt translation - ALIVE], BUT for the ELECT'S SAKE THOSE DAYS SHALL BE SHORTENED" (Matthew 24:21-22). Surely, this is referring to the SAME great event as mentioned to the Philadelphia church!!!

THIS GREAT EVENT WILL BE NON -RELIGIOUS!!! Ancient writings observed that approximately 7 years before Planet X arrived to disturb earth, weather patterns began to change. Apparently, in 1995 Planet X on its earthward journey got close enough that its far-reaching magnetic and gravitational influence started to affect Earth significantly. The closer it comes to us, the faster it moves toward earth, and the stronger its magnetic and gravitational effects will become. Our own sun's gravity is what is pulling it closer and faster along with Planet X's own gravitational pull to the sun Planet X NEVER collides with earth or the sun because of the newly discovered repulsion force which comes into play as they near each other.

Earth now has two strong magnetic/gravitational pulls in its vicinity [the sun is the greatest as of now and Planet X], and the earth's largely solid nickel-iron and outer core of liquid nickel-iron (Exploring Our Living Planet, p.38) is heating up because of these two influences. Our sun is pushing and pulling on earth one way and Planet X is beginning to upset these natural forces by its own influence.

Weather Conditions

A delicate ecological, environmental and planetary balance between our sun and earth is being disturbed as the approach of Planet X draws nearer. Even though Russia and the United States started using Extremely Low Frequency Magnetic Waves to divert the jet stream and try to melt the polar ice caps, could all the worldwide unusual weather be blamed just on that or could these record breaking heat waves and seismic activity also be blamed on the approach of this rogue planet of intrusion? Could it be that today's melting and breaking up of massive glaciers and ice shelves, storms, floods, tsunamis, volcanic and seismic activity, fires, meteor showers, droughts and related energy shortages, with all the loss of life, are only a preview of what is to come?

What will it take to survive the massive death and destruction that will ensue if past history and astronomers are correct about this "intruder" planet? 'WATCH you therefore, and PRAY ALWAYS, that YOU may be ACCOUNTED WORTHY TO ESCAPE all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man" (Luke 21:36).

Global Warming

According to the world's weather charts and seismic activity over the last 5 years, weather has drastically changed. Discussion is made by those 50 and older of how it used to be. What explanations are we getting from the mass media that is controlled by agents of the Illuminati? They talk about global heating and cooling or sun cycles.

The first effects of Planet X on the weather was called global warming. When many scientists challenged this global warming theory, the story changed to super sun cycles, even though global warming is still being used as a reason. Sun cycles have never been the cause of upset weather conditions and seismic [earthquake] activity at the same time. Our sun is not causing earth's upside down weather. It is being caused by man's manipulation of ELF and the increasingly strong magnetic and gravitational relationship between Earth and Planet X.

Why - Why - Why?

Remember the Reuters release on September 13, 2000, by Andrei Shukshin, that mentioned how Russia anticipated a chain 0f disasters to hit their country" in 2003 and felt there could be the possibility that NO one would survive. They could not have been thinking a nuclear strike because America would do no such thing. Russia is the one who has planned for a surprise attack against us. Why would they mention a great Population shrinkage if this Planet X was not the reason How would they anticipate ahead of time such an event UNLESS they had inside information that they are withholding from the public?

Hubble Telescope

Today, the controllers of society - the Illuminati and their agents - have total control of the use of the Hubble telescope. They want certain live feeds to go into their hands only. Only recently, after the 911 terrorist attack upon America, has an American president come out and admitted that there are a series of underground bunkers for the protection of senior government personnel in case of an emergency. President Bush simply said in case Washington D.C. was taken out by terrorists that they are prepared.

The question becomes, have they maintained these underground bunkers in case Planet X rips apart the North American continent?

The Hubble telescope can see fainter objects and finer details than larger telescopes on earth because it is above the atmosphere which blurs the view of ground based telescopes. Satellites in space can detect wavelengths that the atmosphere filters out, such as infrared, ultraviolet, and X-rays.

If there is anything to be seen, the Hubble telescope will see it. That was the purpose for launching it to begin with. After the discovery of Planet X, governments wanted to track its progress toward earth. Since the United States is the richest nation on earth and has the capability of such a feat, we launched in 1990. Our government is aware.

The mystery object that astronomers know is "out there" could be larger than Jupiter, which is the largest known planet in our solar system. What is called long-period comets that are observed from Earth seem to have certain orbital routes. Could this large object that is "out there" also have a certain orbit? A scientist at the Open University in the United Kingdom [England] is arguing that these comets could be influenced by a large undiscovered object in orbit around the Sun. Writing in the issue of the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society published October 11th, 2000, Dr. John Murray sets out a case for an object orbiting the Sun 32,000 times farther away than Earth. It would have been extremely faint and slow moving and would have escaped detection by present and previous searches for distant planets. Long-period comets are believed to originate in a vast "reservoir" of potential comets and even asteroids known as the Oort cloud. It is now believed that when Planet X passes through the Oort cloud that its gravitational pull drags with it a few comets and asteroids. The Oort cloud surrounds the solar system at distances between about 10,000 and 50,000 astronomical units from the Sun. One astronomical unit is approximately the average distance between the Earth and the Sun. The [long-period comets] reach Earth's vicinity in the inner solar system when their usual, remote orbits are disturbed. Only when near to the Sun do these icy objects grow the coma and tails that give them the familiar form of a cornet. Dr. Murray notes that the comets reaching the inner solar system include a group coming from directions in space that are strung out along an arc across the sky. He argues that this could mark the wake of some large body moving through space in the outer part of the Oort cloud, giving gravitational kicks to comets as it passes.

The object would have to be at least as massive as Jupiter to create a gravitational disturbance large enough to give rise to the effect currently being observed. Dr. Murray says that such an object will be planetary in nature and will have been captured into its present orbit since the solar system was formed [end of article].

Dr. Murray is right. It's a brown dwarf star, and it has been detected. It was called anciently "Nibiru," which translates into "planet of passing." Note in part another article.

Giant Asteroid Found Far Out In Solar System By Frank D. Roylance Baltimore Sun Staff August26, 2001

European scientists say object near Pluto's orbit is biggest of its kind. For 200 years, the giant asteroid Ceres has held the title as the largest known "minor planet" in the solar system. Ceres is a spherical space rock orbiting in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. It is nearly 600 miles in diameter, roughly the distance between Baltimore and Chicago. Now a team of European astronomers is claiming that Ceres has been eclipsed in size by a NEWLY DISCOVERED OBJECT, found near the orbit of Pluto. The new asteroid could be as big as 870 miles across, according to calculations by a team led by Gerhard Hahn of the German Aerospace Center in Berlin. The team's news release called the data "decisive... relegating [Ceres] to second place after holding the asteroid size record for two hundred years."

Not so fast, said Brian Marsden, director of the International Astronomical Union's Minor Planet Center. He said an asteroid's size can't be precisely determined without first knowing both its distance and its brightness, or reflectivity - also called its "albedo." The Europeans have securely fixed the object's orbit and distance, he said. Too soon to tell. But, "it's a little premature for them to boldly come along and give a size, when they're still assuming an albedo." More precise observations are needed, he said.

The new asteroid was discovered in May by a team led by Robert L. Millis, director of the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona. It was temporarily dubbed 2001 KX76. It was found in an orbit beyond Neptune, about 4 billion miles from the sun, in the inner regions of a vast, icy realm of the outer solar system _ called the Kuiper Belt.

Astronomy Magazine "Search for the Tenth Planet" December 1981

Astronomers are readying telescopes to probe the outer reaches of our solar system for an elusive planet MUCH LARGER than Earth. Its existence would explain a 160-year-old mystery. The pull exerted by its gravity would account for a wobble in Uranus' orbit that was first detected in 1821 by a french astronomer, Alexis Bouvard. Beyong Pluto, in the cold, dark regions of space, may lie an undiscovered tenth planet two to five times the size of Earth.

Astronomers at the U.S. Naval Observatory (USNO) are using a powerful computer to identify the best target zones, and a telescopic search will follow soon after. Van Flandern thinks the tenth planet may have between two and five Earth masses and lie 50 to 100 astronomical units from the Sun. (An astronomical unit is the mean distance between Earth and the Sun.) His team also presumes that, like Pluto's, the plane of the undiscovered body's orbit is tilted with respect to that of most other planets, and that its path around the Sun is highly ELLIPTICAL.

A pair of Amer-ican spacecraft may help scientists detect what could be a 10th planet or a giant object billions of miles away, the National Aeronautics and Space Admin-istration said. Thur-sday Scientists at the space agency's Ames Research Center, said the two spacecraft, Pioneer 10 and 11, which are already farther into space than any other man--made object, might add knowledge of a mysterious object believed to be beyond the solar system's outermost known planets. Uranus and Neptune "suggest some kind of mystery object is really there" with its distance depending on what it is. If the mystery object is a new planet, it may lie five billion miles beyond the orbital ring of known planets, the space agency said....

Newsweek Does the Sun Have a Dark Companion? June 28, 1982

When scientists noticed that Uranus wasn't following its predicted orbit for example, they didn't question their theories. Instead they blamed the anomalies on an as yet unseen planet and, sure enough, Neptune was discovered in 1846. NOW astronomers are using the same strategy to explain quirks in the orbits of Uranus and Neptune.

According to John Anderson of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, this odd behavior suggests that the sun has an unseen companion, a dark star gravitationally bound to it but billions of miles away. Other scientists suggest that the most likely cause of the orbital snags is a tenth planet 4 to 7 billion miles beyond Neptune. A companion star would tug the outer planets, not just Uranus and Neptune, says Thomas Van Flandern of the U.S. Naval Observatory. And where he admits a tenth planet is possible, but argues that it would have to be so big, at least the size of Uranus that it should have been discovered by now. To resolve the question, NASA is staying tuned to Pioneer 10 and 11, the planetary probes that are flying through the dim reaches of the solar system on opposite sides of the sun.

Something out there beyond the farthest reaches of the known solar system seems to be tugging at Uranus and Neptune. Some gravitational force keeps perturbing the two giant planets, causing irregularities in their orbits. The force suggests a presence far away and unseen, a large object that may be the long-sought Planet X. The last time a serious search of the skies was made it led to the discovery in 1930 of Pluto, the ninth planet. But the story begins more than a century before that, after the discovery of Uranus in 1781 by the English astronomer and musician William Herschel. Until then, the planetary system seemed to end with Saturn. As astronomers observed Uranus, noting irregularities in its orbital path, many speculated that they were witnessing the gravitational pull of an unknown planet.

So began the first planetary search based on astronomers predictions, which ended in the 1840s with the discovery of Neptune almost simultaneously by English, French, and German astronomers. But Neptune was not massive enough to account entirely for the orbital behavior of Uranus. Indeed, Neptune itself seemed to be affected by a still more remote planet. In the last of the 19th century, two American astronomers, William H. Pickering and Percival Lowell, predicted the size and approximate location of the trans--Neptunian body, which Lowell called Planet X. Years later, Pluto was detected by Clyde W. Tombaugh working at Lowell Observatory in Arizona. Several astronomers, however, suspected it might not be the Planet X of prediction. Subsequent observation proved them right. Pluto was too small to change the orbits of Uranus and Neptune, the combined mass of Pluto and its recently discovered satellite, Charon, is only 1/5 that of Earth's moon. Recent calculations by the United States Naval Observatory have confirmed the orbital perturbation exhibited by Uranus and Neptune, which Dr. Thomas C. Van Flandern, an astronomer at the observatory, says could be explained by "a single undiscovered planet." He and a colleague, Dr. Richard Harrington, calculate that the 10th planet should be two to five times more massive than Earth, and have a highly elliptical orbit that takes it some 5 billion miles beyond that of Pluto. Hardly next-door but still within the gravitational influence of the Sun. [Editor's note: Since its orbit takes it so far from Earth, could that be WHY they have never found it until now?].

Washington Post Mystery Heavenly Body Discovered December 31, 1983

A heavenly body possibly as large as the giant planet Jupiter and possibly so close to Earth that it would be part of this solar system HAS BEEN FOUND in the direction of the constellation Orion by an ORBITING TELESCOPE aboard the U.S. infrared astronomical satellite. So mysterious is the object that astronomers do not know if it is a planet, a giant comet, a nearby 'protostar" that never got hot enough to become a star, a distant galaxy so young that it is still in the process of forming its first stars or a galaxy so shrouded in dust that none of the light cast by its stars ever gets through. "All I can tell you is that we don't know what it is," Dr. Gerry Neugebauer, IRAS chief scientists for California's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and director of the Palomar Observatory for the California Institute of Technology said in an interview.

The most fascinating explanation of this mystery body, which is so cold it casts no light and has never been seen by optical telescopes on Earth or in space [that is in 1983], is that it is a giant gaseous planet, as large as Jupiter and as close to Earth as 50 billion miles. While that may seem like a great distance in earthbound terms, it is a stone's throw in cosmological terms, so close in fact that it would be the nearest heavenly body to Earth beyond the outermost planet Pluto. "If it is really that close, it would be a part of our solar system," said Dr. James Houck of Cornell University's Center for Radio Physics and Space Research and a member of the IRAS science team. "If it is that close, I don't know how the world's planetary scientists would even begin to classify it."

The mystery body WAS SEEN TWICE by the infrared satellite as it scanned the northern sky last January to November [1983], when the satellite ran out of the super-cold helium that allowed its telescope to see the coldest bodies in the heavens. The second observation took place six months after the first and suggested the mystery body had not moved from its spot in the sky near the western edge of the constellation Orion in that time. 'This suggests it's not a comet because a comet would not be as large as the one we've observed and a comet would probably have moved," Houck said. "A planet may have moved if it were as close as 50 billion miles but it could still be a more distant planet and not have moved in six months time."

Whatever it is, Houck said, the mystery body is so cold its temperature is no more than 40 degrees above "absolute" zero, which is 459 degrees Fahrenheit below zero. The telescope aboard IRAS is cooled so low and is so sensitive it can "see" objects in the heavens that are only 20 degrees above absolute zero. When IRAS scientists first saw the mystery body and calculated that it could be as close as 50 billion miles, there was some speculation that it might be moving to ward earth. "It's not incoming mail," Cal Tech's Neugebauer said. "I want to douse that idea with as much cold water as I can." [Editor's note: They admitted they had seen it twice, thought it was moving toward Earth, was so far away they couldn't tell, then denial it was approaching by one man. Astronomers have taken the first picture of a planet-like object orbiting a star outside our solar system. Planet hunters have long sought such a direct view but the object is SO LARGE that they disagree over whether it qualifies as a planet.

The difficulty in seeing extrasolar planets results from the light reflected from them being swamped by their host star, which will typically burn a billion times more brightly in the sky. All the extrasolar planets found so far were revealed by the way their gravity causes their host to wiggle, or by a blink in the light of their host star as they cross in front of it. But in the new infrared image of a star very similar to our sun image, a smaller companion is visible. The star is called 15 Sge and is in the Summer Triangle constellation. The image is one of the first released by the 8.1 meter Gemini North Telescope in Mauna Kea, Hawaii.

The object is about 14 times further away from its star than the Earth is from our Sun, placing it slightly further out than the planet Saturn. "This is the first companion imag-ed in an orbit similar to those of the giant planets," says Michael Liu, of the University of Hawaii and Harvard University. Liu followed the system over several months to check that the faint object he saw was moving with the star and could not there-fore be a faint background object. when the light from star 15 Sge is suppressed, the orbiting object can be seen much more clearly.

Alan Boss, a theorist at the Carnegie Institution of Washington in DC, says Liu's object weighing in at about 48 times the mass of Jupiter - is strictly speaking TOO LARGE to qualify as a planet [Editor's note: How about qualifying as a "brown dwarf?"]. But Boss thinks it is unlikely to have been captured from outside that solar system: "It probably formed at the same time as the host star, with the collapse of the gas cloud."

Brown Dwarf

Most astronomers agree that the term "planet" should be reserved for objects that form later in a solar system's evolution [they THINK!!!], from the gas and dust disc orbiting around a star. So if Boss is right, Liu's object is a brown dwarf. Nevertheless, Boss says the discovery is exciting. Adaptive optics correct for the twinkling in the starlight received at ground-based observatories caused by fluctuations in the Earth's atmosphere. ... [End of article].

Dr. John Anderson, a celestial mechanics investigator with NASA's Pioneer spacecraft project, told" reporters at Ames Research Center at Moffett Field that. "If the planet exists, it travels at nearly right angles to the plane of the orbits of the nine known planets in a looping ellipse SO ELONGATED it only nears the sun every 700 to 1,000 years."

Anderson, who published his ideas last year [2000] in "The Galaxy and the Solar System," called his theory "an important contribution to the understanding of the dynamics of the outer solar system."

Analysis of the trajectories of the Pioneer 10 and II spacecraft during the past five years shows no indication of gravitational effects that would be expected if an unknown planet was in a NORMAL, CIRCULAR ORBIT beyond Uranus and Neptune. But 19th century records indicate the orbits of the outer planets were disturbed in a subtle manner, which Anderson suspects may have been caused by grav-itational effects associated with the undiscover-ed planet. "The best explanation for an object very likely to have been there for at least 100 years, and then dis-appearing, is a planet on a greatly elongated orbit," Anderson said. "I think that's the most likely possi-bility if you take all the current data. It's a good possibility and a good working hypothesis. If it isn't Planet X, then I throw up my hands and can't say what it is," Anderson said. [End].

Zecharia Sitchen's book is based upon Sumerian cuniform that describes this elongated orbit of Planet X. If we used the Sumerian scheme for counting the planets, we would have nine planets, PLUS the earth's moon, PLUS the brown dwarf [10th planet], and the Sun. That equals 12, thus the title for Sitchen's book.

IT'S out there somewhere, big, brown and danger-ous - and it's heading our way. It's Planet X, the fabled 10th planet of the solar system.

Noted 19th century English astronomer John Couch Adams was the first to begin plotting its likely position after noticing strange deviations in the orbit of Uranus - at that time the most distant planet known - that suggested it was being tugged by the gravity of another body.
