Chapter 16: Fun and Fake Smiles

“AJ?” Jackee asked, waking up.

“Hmmmphhh.” He snorted, putting his pillow over his head.

She giggled. “I’m taking a shower, you’re invited.” She stated getting up.

“Shower?” He asked looking up to see the last of the sheet slide off her body as she walked towards his bathroom.

Her pale complexion wonderful, and tight ass luring him in.

She turned slightly and smiled. He raced out of bed after her, practically knocking her over when he did finally reach her.

“I take it your going to join me.” She commented. He nodded vigorously.

“Come on then.” She encouraged. She set the water to an appropriate temperature and hopped in. He followed.

“You and I, a perfect match.” AJ commented as he leaned towards her through the running water. He leaned down to her and they shared a kiss.

“Perfect?” She asked, insecurities rising a bit.

“Perfect.” He reassured her, their bodies responding to the chemistry and intimate situation. And they began to make love in the shower.

Brian sat. It was 9am. She wouldn’t even be up yet, he dryily thought. He sat wide awake. Even though he had just woken up. They needed to talk.

She blew up at him at the mall. Even as impractical as the response was, he knew their had to be more to the story. They hardly even ran into fans. Probably because they never really went out but still.

There had to be more.

Lasting relationships always say communication is best. And he needed to let her know how he was feeling. He drove over there. If she was up, they would talk. If not, he would wait.

She had been lying awake for an hour. Seeing no reason to leave the safety of her bed she stayed put. Not budging. Her tear stained cheeks itched.

She heard a door open and shut but ignored it. Instead focused her attention the white wall in front of her. It was the scene at the mall replaying over and over again.

Brian walked into her room. She was staring intently at the wall.

“Em.” He declared, trying to grab her attention. But the white wall had her attention still. He elevated his voice a bit and repeated himself, finally getting recognized.

“What are you doing here?” She asked scared.

“Thought we should talk.” He explained. She immediately put on a fake smile.

“I’m fine.” She lied. He rolled his eyes. Her tear stained cheeks gave it all away.
