“ What’s bugging you Rok?” asked Alex.
“Leighanne!” he screamed. I had met her once and thought she was a doll.
“Why?” Alex asked, still very calm.
“She dumped me Bone, I told her I was thinking of marriage but the deal with Jive for 3 more albums and that involves tours and she said she loved me too but couldn’t spend half her life waiting for me.” He babbled before breaking into tears. I felt sorry for him but Alex needed this session. Work related stress needed to be released so we invited Bri to join us. It wasn’t love at first sight but we became friends and eventually became more. (Back to present time)
It was weird having all these memories. After our talk I didn’t want them, I just wanted to go to bed and forget it ever happened but I knew that was a false hope.
We were silent the whole way home. I’m sure he was also having unwanted recalls of the past relationship we shared.
Once we reached my house I noticed Matt hadn’t arrived yet.
“I’ll call you.” He said when I exited. I’m sure we still needed to talk but we needed to think first if we were going to be rational.
