Chapter Eight

Siobhan swung open her apartment door and entered with a loud crack of her gum. She placed her belongings on a table nearby and kicked off her shoes carelessly. She made her way into her living room, chewing noisily on her gum. She plopped down on her cushy sofa and sighed deeply.

Dinner had been...intertesting to say the least. She had been a little thrown off guard by JC’s sudden questions and almost let her guard down long enough to let him look into her. That scared her that he had been able to do that, even if it was for a brief moment. It was still a moment too long.

Siobhan smiled when she thought of the bet they had made, she won either way. If JC kept his mouth shut, that meant two WHOLE MONTHS without his sarcasm, though she figured she was going to get enough of it from the other guys even WITHOUT JC’s added in. Then again if SHE won, JC had to tell her ANYTHING she wanted and THAT temptation would have to be carefully thought over on Siobhan’s part.

Siobhan cracked her gum loudly and it bounced off the silent walls of her small apartment. She didn’t like the silence as much now, in fact she hated being alone in that apartment. It felt so cold and abandoned, empty too, almost like her. Funny, she thought, how material things made such great metaphors. Though she hardly thought an apartment even BEGAN to describe her.

Siobhan listened to the silence and the obnoxious way she chewed her gum. She propped her feet on her coffee table and cross her legs at her ankles, slouching down comfortably into the sofa. She was almost off to a light sleep when the phone rang and startled her.

Siobhan’s eyes flew open and she looked around her apartment quickly. She checked her watch and found it relatively early, still no one called her at her apartment. She reached over for the phone, now being on it’s fourth ring.

“Hello?” she asked tiredly.

“Si, where the hell have you been?”

Siobhan groaned and rubbed her eyes, “And I was having such a good night.”

“Don’t give me any of that sh--” Mike began.

“Let me guess,” Siobhan cut in. “Your largely inflated male ego needs a little air so you decided to call weak little Siobhan up and bitch at her about everything, in hopes that maybe you’ll feel better about YOURSELF while making ME feel like total shit...am I close?”

“Si...I don’t have time for this...” Mike started, taking a deep breath.

Siobhan knew she was pissing him off and wasn’t sure if it was the smartest thing to do that late in the day, but at this point she didn’t care.

“Great well I don’t either, so let’s hang up and pretend you never called...bye now.”

“SIOBHAN,” Mike growled loudly.

Siobhan rolled her eyes, “What.”

“Don’t be a bitch,” he said in a low tone.

“Don’t bring it out of me,” she stated flatly.

Mike took another deep breath. “The tour starts tomorrow...are you getting anywhere? And more importantly...are you prepared?”

Siobhan chewed on her gum loudly and thought about his question. She blew a bubble and cracked it loudly into the phone.

“SIOB--”

“Yeah I guess I’m getting somewhere,” Siobhan finally replied, cutting Mike off.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Mike asked.

“Exactly what is sounds like, do you really think I can snap my fingers and make them befriend me? No...their not the easiest bunch of guys to talk to, they think everything’s a joke,” Siobhan said, twirling her gum around her finger.

“Well they won’t once we publish this article on them now will they?” Mike laughed bitterly.

“God Mike you sound like a psycho maniac, it’s just a stupid boy band, if this doesn’t work we can move on to someone else,” Siobhan said with a bored sigh.

“No Si, we CANNOT move on to someone else, if this cover gets blown, that’s it, we’re gone, no longer writers and publishers, just nobody’s on the streets. Do you realize what this is going to do for our career? It’s either going to shoot us up or bring us down, which way would you rather go?” Mike asked with all seriousness.

“Whatever way your not,” Siobhan laughed to herself.

Mike sighed. “All right Si, you can crack your jokes, I’ll tolerate them tonight. But when it comes to the article, please PLEASE be on your best behavior and CONCENTRATE on what your doing...”

“I get it Mike,” Siobhan cut in. “I got it the first TWELVE times you told me...this isn’t just YOUR career on the line here...I’ve worked pretty DAMN hard to get to where I am today and I’m not just going to let it all go with carelessness on my part, I’m not that dumb.”

Mike sighed again, “That’s good to know.”

Siobhan rolled her eyes, “You treat me like a little kid sometimes, it pisses me off I don’t need another controlling father.”

Mike remained silent for a moment. “Sorry Si, I’m just under a lot of stress. But really how is everything going?”

Siobhan hesitated. “Good I guess.”

“Are they coming around?”

“Well they have secrets, that’s for sure,” Siobhan replied.

“Hmm...that’s good to know,” Mike commented in thought. “How are you getting along with them otherwise.”

“Their all right, always cracking on each other and playing jokes, who knows what this tour is going to be like,” Siobhan shrugged.

“Have you gotten deep with any of them?”

“To a certain extent...I think I got the farthest with JC, especially tonight.”

“JC? Tonight?”

“Yeah I set up interviews with them all, JC’s was last and we went out to dinner to complete it,” Siobhan said casually.

“You went out to dinner with him?” Mike asked, raising an eyebrow curiously.

“Yeah no big deal, I just made him promise he wouldn’t give me a hard time until dessert and he sort of kept that, he fell at one point. Then we made a bet and if I win he swore to tell me anything I wanted to know...” Siobhan smiled.

“Do you like him Si?”

“Huh? Who JC?” Siobhan asked, confused by his last question.

“Yes.”

“As what?”

“By now...anything,” Mike said.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Siobhan asked, even more confused now.

“Do you like JC?” he asked again.

Siobhan shrugged, “He’s all right I guess.”

“Don’t fall for him,” Mike said suddenly.

“What...? Fall...? ...For JC? Yeah right,” Siobhan laughed.

“Just don’t,” Mike warned. “That’ll screw everything up.”

“I won’t Mike trust me, me and JC...ha that’s a good one,” Siobhan giggled. “Well as much as I’d love to stay and chat I have a three month trip to pack for, I’ll be in touch.”

Siobhan didn’t wait for Mike to respond, she just hung up on him. She sat for a moment and thought about his words. She laughed at herself.

“Me and JC...yeah right, that’d be the day,” she muttered to herself.

Siobhan stood up and headed back to her room to begin packing. The next three months were going to be pretty interesting, at least Siobhan thought so.

(May 9th, Day 1 of the Tour)

“SIOBHAN!” a voice called across the busy parking lot.

Siobhan looked up and smiled weakly with a small wave in response. She looked back down to the trunk of her car and blinked her eyes a few times to wake up. She rubbed them and yawned, tired from the lack of sleep she received the night before.

Siobhan inhaled the fresh morning air deeply. The sky was painted with soft pastel colors from the previous sunrise. The clouds and colors smothered each other and seemed painted in place.

Siobhan pulled out her suitcase with a small grunt and wondered if she forgot anything. She was pretty sure she didn’t, but then again she didn’t know what to expect so she barely left anything at home.

Someone reached in front of her and pulled her suitcase out of the trunk for her, bringing it gently to the ground. Siobhan turned around and became face to face with JC. She blushed slightly and smiled in appreciation.

“Thanks, I’m not fully awake yet,” Siobhan said, pulling out a small travel bag before shutting the trunk and locking it.

JC smiled, “You’ll be able to get some sleep on the bus, just pray your not on our bus though.”

Siobhan looked at him curiously and shrugged. She slung her travel bag over her shoulder carefully and waited for JC to move.

“Where am I supposed to go?” she asked.

JC picked up her suitcase with a faint grunt and looked over at her. He opened his mouth to say something, but remembered their bet made the night before and shut it before a sound came out. Siobhan waited for him to respond and sighed in disappointment when he caught himself.

“I’ll take your bag, but go ask Johnny what bus he wants you on,” JC replied, beginning to make his way over to the group of guys, packing all the luggage.

Siobhan was left standing by herself and looking after JC. She sighed to herself and shook her head. “So close,” she murmured to herself. “So close.”

Siobhan made her way over to where Johnny was standing, instructing people and looking around, double checking everything. She shifted her bag on her shoulder and stood, waiting patiently for his attention.

Johnny finally noticed Siobhan standing there and smiled, looking down at a clipboard in his hand. “Bus number six,” he said.

Siobhan nodded and smiled, then walked away to find her bus. She looked around curiously and seemed lost. She studied the buses and wondered where she was supposed to go.

“What bus are you on?” someone asked from behind.

Siobhan jumped in surprise and spun around to find Joey standing there. Siobhan clutched her heart gently and sighed.

“Six,” she said.

“Your over there,” Joey said, pointing to one of the many buses lined up.

“Thanks,” she said gratefully.

Joey smiled and nodded, then walked away to talk to someone else he recognized.

Siobhan made her way over to her bus and checked it to give her an idea of how to recognize the bus for future use. She found something to memorize and climbed on, making her way to the back. She gazed around and her eyes widened in slight surprise.

The bus was huge, covered in features and luxuries. Siobhan dropped her bag on the long couch, lining the side of the bus. She sat down slowly and looked around, staring in disbelief.

Siobhan’s gaze of amazement was broken by someone bounding on the bus. Siobhan looked up to find a peppy girl, beaming brightly with a smile on her face, studying her carefully.

“Hi,” she said cheerily.

“Hello,” Siobhan responded tiredly.

“I’m Kim, I think I’m your new bus buddy!” she said enthusiastically.

Siobhan smiled weakly, “Nice to meet you.”

“We might even be roomies, are you Siobhan?” Kim asked.

Siobhan nodded slowly.

“Yup were roomies too!” Kim giggled. “Don’t worry I’m not always this hyper, I’ve just had A LOT of coffee this morning and I love trips!”

Siobhan forced a smile and stood up. “Well I didn’t get any sleep last night so please wake up when we get to our destination.”

Kim tilted her head and watched Siobhan walk back into the bus bed compartments. Kim shrugged and grabbed what she had originally came on the bus for and bounced off the bus.

Siobhan peeked out again and made sure Kim was gone. She breathed a sigh of relief and walked back to the very back of the bus, shutting the door behind her. She groaned thinking of the peppy girl she had just met, full of life and energy, as her bus buddy and room mate for THREE months. This was going to be hell.

Siobhan looked out the tinted window and watched everyone rush around the parking lot, making sure everything was in order. She sat down on the couch and propped her arms and head on the top of the couch, gazing out at everyone.

Siobhan sighed sadly and made sure no one could see her before letting her defenses down for the first time. She was tired and vulnerable at that moment, but she couldn’t let anyone see that side of her because someone could easily make her cry with the snap of a finger.

Siobhan watched the bunches of people walking around and groups of relatives and close friends say their good-bye’s. Siobhan watched how the mother’s wiped away tears and the fathers gave hugs. She watched how the guys smiled sadly and tried to be strong, knowing this had to be done and also wanting to do it. But there’s always that part of them that wanted to stay and not have to say good-bye.

Siobhan watched as they shut their eyes tightly as they gave their hugs, squeezing their brothers and sisters lovingly. She envied those relationships and she envied the whole scene. She felt something twitch in her emotions and she couldn’t bear to watch any longer.

Siobhan stood up and walked back into the bus bed compartments. She stuffed her travel bag safely into a corner and climbed into a bed. She pulled the curtain shut and rested her head comfortably on the pillow. In a matter of minutes, she was asleep.

“You did WHAT!?” Justin asked in disbelief.

“I made a bet,” JC said casually.

“And you said WHAT!?”

“I said I wouldn’t make any smart comments for two months, what’s the big deal?” JC asked shrugging his shoulders.

“JC...think about this...TWO WHOLE MONTHS...you might as well not talk!” Justin exclaimed.

JC laughed, “I can hold my tongue when I want to.”

“But not around her!” Justin argued. “Are you kidding!? You tear that girl apart by just looking at her!”

JC laughed again, “It IS pretty fun isn’t it?”

“Well your not going to be having fun for TWO months...are you remembering this?” Justin asked, giving JC a questioned look.

JC smiled to himself and leaned back in his seat, “It’s going to be easy.”

“How do you figure?”

JC shrugged, “She’s not going to make it, it drives her nuts when I just look at her, like you said, because she wonders what I’m thinking and when I’m smart with her at least she KNOWS what I’m thinking, though I’m not really thinking that.”

Justin tilted his head, “Run that by me again?”

JC chuckled, “Never mind, just trust me on this one, I know I’m going to win and she’ll have to do anything I say.”

“And what if SHE wins?” Justin asked.

“She won’t,” JC said matter of factly.

“Well what if she DOES,” Justin insisted. “What does she get?”

“I have to tell her anything she wants to know,” JC said with a small shrug.

“Anything?”

JC nodded, “Anything.”

“That could be a little dangerous couldn’t it?” Justin asked cautiously.

JC thought about it for a second. “I guess so, but I don’t really think she’s going to ask anything really bad and besides by then we’ll know her really well, remember this bet is until the 4th of July, that’s two months away.”

Justin nodded, “I remember, though I seriously doubt your going to last.”

“Thanks for the faith in me,” JC said sarcastically.

Justin grinned and giggled, “Well I’m just being honest...”

“Enough of your honesty, I don’t feel like hearing it anymore,” JC cut in playfully.

Justin flashed a devilish grin and stood up. “I’m going to start a pool.”

“On what?” JC asked.

“This whole bet thing,” Justin said, heading towards the back room. He rubbed his hands together with a mischievous smile, “I’m gonna make some MONEY off of this!”

JC laughed, “I think your going to lose some money if you bet on her, she’s going to break I’m telling you.”

“We’ll see JC, we’ll see, you don’t know her too well yet, she’s probably a lot stronger than you give her credit for!” he called over his shoulder.

JC shook his head and laughed lightly, leaning back in his seat. He folded his hands and placed them on his stomach. He smiled to himself and the thought of the bet and how he was going to make it impossible for her NOT to call it off. He was going to have fun.

“Siobhan,” a voice said softly, shaking her gently. “Siobhan wake up.”

Siobhan groaned and mumbled, “No.”

The person walked away and Siobhan rolled over, burying her face into her pillow. She began falling into another deep sleep, when someone came back and shook her roughly.

“Chev., Chev!? Are you AWAKE!?” someone yelled into her ear loudly.

Siobhan groaned and tried to wiggle out of the person’s grip. She succeeded and rolled into the back of the bus bed. She didn’t look up, just searched for her pillow. Finding it, she pulled it over to her and covered her head.

“CHEV!!!” the voice called again, gripping her arm loosely. “TIME TO GET UP!!!”

Siobhan pressed her pillow over her head with more pressure and mumbled something. The next thing she knew someone was pushed against her, squirming to get closer. Siobhan peeked out from under her pillow and jumped while letting out a small scream at the closeness of Chris’ face to hers.

She automatically tried to sit up and bumped her head roughly on the top of the bus bed. She groaned in pain as Chris began laughing hysterically. Siobhan fell back onto the bed and began rubbing the back of her head. She looked over at Chris and her eyes flared. Chris stopped laughing and bit his lip.

“Your up,” he said quietly.

Siobhan glared at him, “Get out.”

Chris smiled, “Aw Chev. you don’t mean that--”

“Get out,” she growled.

“But we’re at a rest area and I was sent to--”

“GET OUT,” she said sternly.

Chris wiggled in his place and smushed her against the back wall of the bus bed compartment. He grinned childishly and tilted his head into her direction. He remained silent with a smile on his face.

“Chris I warned you...on the count of three I’m going to...” Siobhan started.

Chris sighed and stayed frozen in the same spot.

“One...”

Chris wiggled again and shifted.

“Two...”

Chris looked at her curiously and pouted out his lip.

“Three...” Siobhan finished counting. “Are you leaving?”

Chris shook his head without thought. He smiled broadly and shifted again, pressing her against the back wall even more. Siobhan’s arms were pressed against her own stomach as Chris held her in her position firmly.

“I’m going to try this one more time...THREE,” Siobhan said through gritted teeth.

Chris didn’t move.

Siobhan wriggled her fingers free and began tickling Chris’ side. Chris squirmed around in his place and sent Siobhan moving along with him. Siobhan freed her hands and began tickling him on both sides. Chris laughed loudly, trying to gain control of her.

His arms fell to his sides as he tried elbowing her hands away as best as he could. He twisted in every direction and giggled.

“Mmphpmhhpm...st-st-sto-o-op,” he managed to get out.

“You ticklish Chris? Huh?” Siobhan asked with a smile, tickling him harder.

Chris finally couldn’t take it anymore and tried to sit up, banging his head on the top of the bus bed compartment. Siobhan giggled as he fell back down and started rubbing his head. Siobhan pushed her way back into the center of the bed and gave Chris one last final push. Chris fell out of the bed and landed with a loud thump.

Siobhan peeked over the bed side and grinned down at Chris, who was laying on his back and looking up at her. He smiled weakly, still in pain from the fall and the headache pounding in his ears. He gave a small wave and Siobhan couldn’t help but giggle.

“Sorry Chris, but I gave you fair warning, nothing personal,” Siobhan waved back.

“No problem,” Chris grunted.

Justin ran into the bus bed compartments and almost tripped over Chris.

“What the hell?” Justin asked, puzzled.

Chris pointed up to Siobhan, who’s head was still peeking out of the bus bed. “Remind me never to share a bed with her, she’s a...” he flinched as he shifted. “Violent sleeper.”

Siobhan grinned and giggled again. “Just don’t try to wake me up and we’ll be on good terms.”

Justin grinned and broke into laughter. “Damn Chris she got you good, you should see--” He stopped when he caught Chris’ look. “Need help getting up?” he asked with a sheepish smile.

Chris nodded and held up his hand. Justin took it and pulled him up quickly. Chris let out a pained yelp and clutched his back.

“Your going to turn me into an old geezer before I hit thirty!” Chris complained to Siobhan.

Siobhan smiled and waved, “Your almost there anyway.”

Chris shot her a look, “Oh it’s on.”

Siobhan smiled innocently and batted her eyelashes, “I look forward to your attempts.”

“Att--” Chris began.

“Chris why don’t you go find some aspirin and maybe an ice pack?” Justin suggested, cutting him off.

Chris grumbled something and walked off. Justin squatted down to the floor bus bed where Siobhan’s head was peeking out.

“We’re at a rest area, time to eat,” Justin said.

Siobhan shook her head, “I’m not hungry, I need sleep.”

She ducked her head back into the compartment and pulled the curtain shut, blocking all possible sunlight out of her burrow she created. Justin sighed and shook his head.

“Come on Siobhan you need some meat on them bones anyway,” Justin said through the curtain.

Siobhan mumbled a response but Justin could hear her. He pulled back the curtain and let sunlight pour in again.

“What? I can’t hear you, SPEAK UP!”

“I swear you and Chris...I’m gonna--”

“Cooperate and come out to get some lunch,” Justin finished for her.

Siobhan sighed and rolled over, back facing Justin. She pulled the pillow over her head again and murmured something, again Justin couldn’t hear.

“WHAT!?” he asked loudly.

Siobhan threw the pillow down to her side in frustration, “I SAID GO AWAY!”

Justin grinned and pulled the curtain back all the way. “Aww now you don’t mean that.”

“Oh I mean every--” she started.

Justin scooped her up into his arms and out of the bus bed.

“Justin what the hell do you think your doing?” Siobhan demanded. “Put me down NOW.”

Justin remained grinning and shook his head, “Your going to eat.”

“Your right...LATER though, right now I’m going to SLEEP,” Siobhan argued, beginning to swing her legs in protest.

Justin shook his head, “I’m afraid not, we’re determined not to forget anyone this year and remember to feed EVERYONE.”

Siobhan stopped swinging her legs and looked up at Justin, “This year...? Forget...?”

Justin laughed, “It’s a joke Siobhan, we never forget anyone.”

Siobhan nodded her head, “Oh I see...haha...” she replied sarcastically.

Justin shook his head, “I know you have a sense of humor down there, underneath all that aggravation.”

Siobhan narrowed her eyebrows, “What do you mean by THAT?” she demanded.

Justin laughed and shifted Siobhan in his arms. He turned towards the doorway and began making his way towards the bus door. Siobhan instantly remembered what he was doing and began swinging her legs in protest again. She had her arms wrapped around his neck in fear of falling and in case he dropped her.

“Justin I swear I’m going to find out where you live and sleep...your never going to be able to have kids if you don’t PUT ME DOWN,” Siobhan threatened through clenched teeth.

Justin laughed lightly, “It’s good to know you appreciate all I’m doing for you and thanks for the offer of checking on me when I’m asleep to make sure I’m ok, but I’m a big boy and don’t need anyone to do that anymore. Besides I have my night light and that protects me just fine...”

“JUSTIN!” Siobhan yelled out.

Justin had reached the bus door and began down the steps, trying to fit Siobhan through on an angle. Justin began humming a tune and ignoring Siobhan’s loud protests. He walked towards the seating area where everyone was waiting for their food orders and finally placed Siobhan on the ground gently. Siobhan grumbled something under her breath and crossed her arms in annoyance.

“What would you like to eat Miss Siobhan?” Justin asked.

Siobhan just glared at him.

“Well since you can’t seem to decided why don’t you just come in with me?” Justin suggested, gently pushing her towards the restaurant.

Siobhan spun out of his grip and shook her head.

“Come on now, don’t be stubborn,” Justin said with a small grin.

The rest of the tables watched the scene with amusement and began to giggle at Justin’s mischievous grin plastered on his face.

Siobhan had an idea and began walking towards the bus again. Justin grabbed her wrist and she continued to walk, feet slipping from under her. Siobhan tried wiggling out of his grip but was unsuccessful. Justin chuckled and pulled her towards him.

“Come on Siobhan, we’ll go pick something out TOGETHER...it’ll be fun,” he said playfully.

Siobhan finally began following him and Justin let go of her wrist. The minute she thought he wasn’t paying attention, Siobhan turned around and tried to run. Justin spun around and caught her in midair, gripping her around her waist.

“Uh uh Chev. we’re going to get something to eat and get it into your system,” Justin scolded.

By now the whole seating area had erupted in laughter as they watched the two of them perform their goofy antics, well Justin’s anyway. Justin spun Siobhan around to face everyone and grinned.

“Wave to all the people,” Justin said in her ear.

He picked up her arm and held her around the waist with his other. He waved her arm in the air and everyone began laughing harder. Siobhan looked down at Justin with an evil look and growled. Justin grinned and began making his way to the restaurant.

Lonnie caught up with them and followed them in. They bumped into JC on the way in, Siobhan was still being held by Justin and was now shifted into his opposite arm. JC looked at the both of them curiously and tilted his head in wonder.

“I’m not sure I want to know,” JC finally commented.

Siobhan crossed her arms in a huff, “Hmph.”

Justin smiled and spoke casually, “Siobhan wanted something to eat so I told her I’d come in with her.”

Siobhan opened her mouth in protest when Justin shifted her again and caused her to bob and bite her tongue. She moaned in pain and shot Justin another look. She covered her mouth with her hand and whimpered softly.

Justin smiled and waved to JC, “See ya back there.”

JC raised an eyebrow and smiled. He laughed lightly and waved to the two of them. “All right,” he said, making his way back to the tables where everyone sat.

Justin walked into the McDonald’s and looked around. He found a short line and walked up. He looked up at the menu and looked over to Siobhan who was still holding her mouth and scowling.

“What would you like? It’s on me,” Justin offered.

Siobhan remained silent and didn’t respond.

“Well since you don’t want to order, I will for you,” Justin said stepping up to the register.

“Hi welcome to McDonald’s may I take your order?” the young girl asked blandly, not looking up.

“Sure,” Justin said in a friendly tone. “I’ll take a number six for me and my friend over here would like a...tell me...do you still sell fish sandwiches?”

Siobhan’s eyes widened and she shook her head and made a small grunt. The cashier girl looked up and found the same scene JC had encountered. She opened her mouth to say something but found herself staring at Justin, then back at Siobhan.

“Umm...what was the question?” she asked, breaking herself out of her stare.

“Fish sandwiches...do you still have them?” Justin asked again.

The cashier opened her mouth to respond when Siobhan blurted out, “NO! I’ll have a number six too!”

Justin smiled with satisfaction and nodded, “Ok then, make that TWO number sixes.”

He shifted Siobhan again and got out his wallet, pulling out the money with a little difficulty. Their ordered was processed and given to them as the cashier girl continued to study them curiously.

“Mind helping me out here?” Justin asked, pointing to the two soda’s on placed on the counter.

Siobhan growled and picked up the soda’s and straws without protest. Justin smiled and picked up the two bags of food. He began humming a tune again as he made his way towards the door.

Lonnie followed them quietly and looked around the restaurant to make sure Justin hadn’t been spotted. They made their way outside and back down to the seating area where everyone was peacefully eating.

Justin stopped at a half empty table and placed the bags of food down. Siobhan remained in his arms. She held the soda’s and looked down at Joey and Lance who were sitting at the table, trying to muffle their laughter.

“Are you ready to get down now?” Justin asked Siobhan.

Siobhan nodded her head. Justin placed her down carefully and Siobhan tried to adjust her shirt as best she could with two soda’s in either hand. Justin sat down and began to dig through the bags of food to find his order. Siobhan remained standing and holding the soda’s. Justin looked up at Siobhan who had her stare fixed on him and he smiled.

“You can sit down and eat you know, can I have my drink?”

A smile crept across Siobhan’s face, “I thought you’d never ask.”

Justin narrowed his eyes in confusion, “Huh?”

Siobhan took off the top of the soda and poured the liquid down Justin’s front. Justin gasped in surprise and stood up automatically. Everyone turned around and began laughing loudly.

Siobhan shook the cup to make sure she had every last drop out and handed it to Justin. Justin took it and stared at her in disbelief. Siobhan smiled sarcastically.

“As I said before, NEVER wake me up,” she stated. She placed the other soda down on the table and turned around, marching back to her bus.

Justin stared after her in shock, then looked back down at Joey and Lance who were falling out of their seats laughing. JC walked up to him and patted his shoulder.

“I honestly didn’t think she had it in her,” JC commented. He looked over at Justin who was shaking his head and trying to wipe soda off his shirt and pants. “Still placing your bet on her?”
