Don't Want

Words and music by Bobbi Keith

1.Don’t want no more advertising please,
No more junk and no more sleaze,
It’s crowding my brain and spoiling my view.
What do I want now? I’ll tell you true.

2.Don’t want no Prozac to hide my depression,
Don’t want Viagra to boost my obsession,
Don’t want polluted food sold as pure;
If we lose touch with nature, we lose our souls for sure.

3.The balance swings from side to side
While sacred things are trivialized,
The laws avoided, the truth concealed,
And the bits better covered, ooh they are revealed.

Br. They say that love is a mystical thing
Only seen by a eagle’s eyes,
Can light your soul and make you sing,
Takes a heart like a lion who refuses to compromise.

4.I have a question for you if I may,
The things men offer, I just throw them away,
The one thing I want, I can’t have,
Must be some kind of holy message in that.
