To Whom it May Concern,
We would like to express our disappointment at your decision to withdraw your
advertising from Parmount's Dr. Laura television show without ever having seen
the show or judging it on its own merits. Obviously, you do not share Paramount's
commitment to "present society's moral and ethical issues without creating or
contributing to an environment of hurt, hate or intolerance." We need more
like-minded television programming, as well as like-minded corporations who are
willing to take a courageous stand against censorship and speak out for what is right
and decent. Unfortunately, you are not willing to follow Paramount's lead in supporting
positive programming, despite your contrary claims. As a result we have decided that
we will no longer support Proctor and Gamble by purchasing your products.
Sincerely,
(woofys)
