This page grew out of my desire to write a series of "Songs from the Proverbs." In order to accomplish that I needed to organize (to the best of my unschooled ability) the passages by topic. I am posting the Scripture here, sorted by topic but in order of occurrence and with the verse numbers intact, as a service to you the honored visitor. I used the King James Version primarily because it is in the public domain, but found I was also struck by the poetry of its phrasing. When my songs are complete I hope some of that poetry has rubbed off!
