Don't Give Up On Love

A friend of mine recently had a friend die in a wreck.. Having gone through the heartwrenching pain of burying a friend whose life was cut way too short, I wanted to give these words of encouragement and advice.

People leave so soon sometimes, and there never seems to be an answer why.
And it just leaves you standing in your tracks, mouth open, too shocked to cry.
And it makes you afraid to get close to anyone and open up your heart to the pain.
For fear that they might take it away with them and leave you alone again.
But a life without feeling isn’t living at all. (don’t you know)
And sometimes the joy you share with someone is worth the pain of letting go.

Don’t give up on love, the joy is definitely worth the hurt.
And if you keep trying eventually you’ll find the loves that work.
There’s no reason for anyone to walk the earth alone.
