Chapter 2: Past the objections
Quen woke up early the next day. She was determined to go through with her idea, and she had a good plan that would gurantee her idea to work. Her idea: to go to Hogwarts. What did she have to lose? She had the letter, which was addressed to someone named Zelma Zeppli. She could go out, buy her supplies, and then find someway
to explain it to Mr. Hooker and her parents.
She set out. She left early for work that morning because afterwords she would go buy supplies. First she decided to tell Mr. Hooker, who was shocked when Quen arrived early.
"Quen? What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here for an hour!" Mr. Hooker exclaimed when he saw Quen coming throught the doorway.
"Um, I have two reasons for being here early." Quen answered. "First of all, I need to tell you something. Second of all, I need sometime to do something after I'm done, so I have to finish work early."
"Hmm..." said Mr. Hooker. "What is it you wanted to tell me?"
"I'm going somewhere, for the rest of the year,"
Mr. Hooker looked disappointed. "Where are you going Quen?"
"Oh... just a program for wizards." She said.
"I see... how may I ask, are you going to get to this 'program'?" Mr. Hooker demanded.
"By train," Quen answered truthfully.
"And to get on the train," Mr. Hooker continued. "You will need to have someone take you to the train station, correct?"
"Yes Sir,"
"Why don't I take you, to save your parents the trouble?" Mr. Hooker insisted.
"Um, okay." Quen said, with alot of suspicion.

After work, and after shopping for school supplies, Quen headed home. She felt rather pleased with herself, for she had someone to take her to Hogwarts. There was only one more thing that she had to take care of.
Her Parents.
She hoped they would believe her. She entered the house and walked into her dad's study.
"Dad?"
Mr. Morrison looked up and smiled.
"Hello Quen. How was your day?" He asked.
"Fine. Can I tell you something?"
"Sure Quen, what is it?"
Quen told him about the "program" just as she had told Mr. Hooker. And just like Mr. Hooker, he began to ask questions.
"How long will you be gone?" He demanded.
"A year."
"Who told you about this?"
"Mr. Hooker," Quen replied, with her toes crossed. "He's going to take me."
"Alright. Have everything packed?" her father asked.
"Yes."
"Okay, have a good time."
Quen walked up the stairs and up to her room and closed the door.
"Yes!" She hissed.
Once, for the first time in her life, she was going to Hogwarts.
