Chapter Four-Classes
James woke up. He looked over at two empty beds Sirius and Remus must already be at breakfast. He threw on some clothes and walked down to breakfast only getting lost twice. Finally when he got there he met up with Sirius, Remus and Lily. “hi guys,”
“Hi James here’s your schedule,” Lily said. She handed him his class schedule.
“We have transfiguration first,” said Sirius.
“Well what are we waiting for lets go,” James said gobbling down the rest of his food.
Transfiguration was very hard. Professor McGonagal who James found out was the lady with frizzy hair. She gave them a piece of string and told them to turn it into a needle. James had almost got it. All he needed was a thread hole. Sirius and Remus had got a floppy needle. Peter was the least successful out of the whole class.
The rest of the week seemed to go by fast until Friday when the Gryffindors had potions with Slytherins. The potions classroom was very cold. It was in the dungeons of the castle. The teacher Professor Perrel seemed most cheerful to Slytherins. But he didn’t like the Gryffindors much. This could be because he is head of the Slytherins. He’d say stuff like, “Mr. Black what is this? It is much to thick.” Or “much to orange Miss Cremin. Mr. Pettigrew! What are you doing everyone get under you’re desk’s!” He yelled. “POW!” Peters potion had blown up. The classroom was now covered with orange gooey potion.
Finally the bell sounded and the whole class ran out as fast as they could. “Finally we’re out of that class,” Sirius said.
“I know, if I were any more bored I would be Dead,” Remus said.
“ Well I have to go drop off my books in my dormitory, I’ll see you at dinner.” Lily said. And the four boys walked off to dinner.
“Hey guys,” Lily walked into the Dining hall with three huge books in her hands.
“Lily what are those for?” James asked.
“Oh these, well I wanted to get a head start on next weeks classes.” She said.
“Can you believe that it has been one hour into the weekend and she already is working.” Remus said. Lily made a fake laugh, “ha ha ha”
After dinner James, Sirius and Remus sat in the Gryffindor common room thinking of what they could do to prank Severus. “Maybe we could put the jelly legs curse on him,” Sirius suggested. James laughed picturing Severus walking down the hall shaking violently. “or we could try to turn him into a pig,” Remus said.
“Yeah with our luck we could turn him into half a pig and half still him.” James said.
“Turn who into a pig,” Lily had walked into the common room.
“Oh no one,” James said. He knew Lily wouldn’t approve of any of pranks. She shrugged and walked back to the Dormitory.
“Well I’m going to bed,” said Remus
“Me too,” Sirius said.
“Yeah maybe I’ll dream of something to do to Severus.” James said. And the three went to bed.
