Chapter Two-Hogwarts Express
“Mum,” James called, “we’re going to be late.”
I’m coming,” she called. Finally when she was ready they loaded the car with James school supplies. The reason the were using a car is to fit in with the Muggles. Muggles are people who do not have magic. James never liked riding in Muggle cars. He was not looking forward to the journey to Kings Cross station.
After a slow, bumpy ride they finally got to kings cross. James hopped out of the car pulled his trunk out and dragged it along. He grabbed his mother’s hand and together they walked through the door which when a Muggle looked at it , it would look like a brick wall.
On the other side there was a sign that read Platform nine and three quarters. Right below it was the Hogwarts express.
“Ok James no matter how much your father told you about how he and his friends were always up to no good. You don’t follow that example. Work hard and stay on task.” his mother said.
“Sure mum,” James said. A typical gone off to school speech. James laughed in his head he was going to do exactly the opposite of what his mother just said. James always loved getting in trouble.
His mother helped him load his stuff in an empty compartment in the very back of the train. The door slid open two boys walked in. “Can we sit here?” The one with black hair asked.
“Sure, my name is James what about yours?” James asked.
“Mine is Sirius,” said the black haired boy.
“and mine is Remus.” said the other he had brown hair and looked very tired.
“ Are both of you first years too?” James asked.
“ Yeah,” Remus said.
“yep,” said Sirius.
The compartment door opened again this time it was a boy with greased back black hair.
“Hello,” said Sirius.
“Hi may I sit here?” He asked.
“Sure my name is Sirius,” Sirius said. “and this is Remus and James.” he said.
“Mine is Severus.” said the boy.
Again the compartment door slid open. This time it was a round faced boy and a blonde haired girl. “Hello can we sit here?” the girl asked.
“Sure,” James said. “What are your names?" he asked.
“Lily and Peter,” said the girl.
“Hello my name is Severus. His is James and they are Sirius and Remus.”
“Hello,” said Peter.
“What house do you think you will get in?” Severus asked everyone.
“ I either want Gryffindor or Ravenclaw,” James said. “Not Slytherin I heard that that house is where most Dark Wizards come from.”
“I hope I'm in Gryffindor,” Sirius said.
“Me too added Peter.”
“Same,” Remus said.
“Yes I hope I am in Gryffindor but Ravenclaw would be okay too.” Lily added.
“So your all Gryffindor goodie too shoes.” Severus sneered. “ Well I know I am going to be in Slytherin. I come from a long line of Slytherins.” Severus said he already knew he wouldn’t like these kids.
