Dragon Night

The wind nearly blew the leaves off the trees of the Forbidden Forest. It was a cool night of early spring. Just outside the forest, that was where Sam was. He could faintly see the shape of Hogwarts, small in the distance.
"Kimi, where are you?" He muttered under his breath. He had been waiting about fifteen minutes for Kimi to show up.
"I'm over here,"
Sam looked over to a nearby tree where Kimi stood. Kimi was a tall, skinny girl with black hair all the way down her back. She desended from the tree root she was standing on and stood next to Sam.
"You wanted to see me?" she asked.
"Er, yeah," Sam shifted nervously under the pretty girl's glare. "I was wondering if-if-"
"Yes?" Kimi pressed.
"I was wondering..." Sam began, unable to find the right words. "I was wondering... if you'd be my partner in potions tomorrow."
"What?!" Kimi exclaimed. "You told me to meet you here, in the middle of the night, just to ask me that?"
Sam twiddled his thumbs nervously.
"Well..."
Suddenly, Kimi put her finger to her lips.
"Shh," she said. "Listen,"
Sam listened as a sound reached his ears.
It was a far away sound, a strange sound...
Kimi clutched Sam's arm.
"Oh my god" she whispered.
Sam looked up, instantly spotting what Kimi had seen.
Up in the sky, high up, silhouetted against the moon, a huge black creature, displaying more and more detail as it swooped down on the two Hogwarts students.
Opening it's mouth, the creature, which was just about the size of Hogwarts itself, showed it's fangs, which were as long as rakes.
"RUN!" Sam shouted.
Too late.
Kimi let out a final scream as the creature closed in on the tree and it's occupants, it's mouth wide open, razor sharp teeth ready...

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Ok people, this is only a prologue. The first chapter will come out soon, I can assure you that.
