So Lonely
So Lonely
By CourtyHotLips4U
Once there was a girl. She was what you'd call a loner. She usually sat alone. She always sat with pain in her heart. She knew, or rather thought, no one cared. She didn't care if anyone did or not. She was ignored by others mostly.
Even the teachers ignored her. She was bright but she just couldn't find the energy to apply herself in to her studies. All she did was what they asked her and nothing more.
She couldn't and wouldn't do more because of her fathers death. It hit her harder than anyone else. His death caused her to be handed over, like a tea kettle, to her mothers family. Stepfather right down to her little half sister.
She shook her head of these memories. She had only two friends to share these with, Lily Heminer and Severus Snape.
She looked down at her plate still thinking of her fathers death. Not hungry. She just felt so sad, lonely, and confused to eat.
Snape noticed this. He got up walking to her table and took her hand. Together, they walked out of the school upon the grounds.
He said he wanted to ask her something. She just looked at him. He went on and asked her to marry him He continued and told her his love for her. She nodded feeling like the luckiest girl in the world. She knew she loved him back.
The girl, now a woman, looked out to her family eighteen years later. Yet, there was still something missing in her life. She still felt like a loner.
Voldemort, a very evil and powerful man, came out of hiding so she had to be careful. She shook her head to get those thoughts out of her head.
She didn't know Voldemort was behind her. Something hit her from behind hard. She fell flat on her face. Voldemort laughed. She got up to face him and he mocked her. She glared. He made her see pain as she had never seen or experienced before.
She cried out. She cried in anguish. She cried for all the people who had suffered. For her brother, James. For Lily. For Severus. She cried for all the people she loved. She fought back but this was a battle she would lose.
His words were harsh but true," So you die. Good-bye Helaine." She never heard the words or saw it coming but she came to an end just like that.
And so she died. But yet no one seemed to care. As usual. But the world went on.
