One of the best bands on this world! Known perhaps for songs such as "Losing My Religion" and "Everybody Hurts", R.E.M. has been around for a long time and hopefully they will keep on bringing their alternative music to life for years to come. They have recently contributed songs and score to the soundtrack of the movie "Man on the Moon", so watch out for their video "The Great Beyond" airing on both MTV and VH1.

The Cranberries
"Dreams", "Linger", "Ode to my Family", "Free to Decide", "When You've Gone", "Promises", "Animal Instinct", "Just my Imagination"...The Cranberries have great songs with awesome lyrics, rhythms and vocals. This Irish band is definitely one of the best bands of the 90s and probably it will be one of the best bands of this century too. Check their cool I recently went to their concert on April 7, 2000 and it was totally awesome. I'm very proud that my first concert was one of theirs. When they played the song "Zombie", the whole audience started jumping up and down in a total frenzy of energy and fun. They finished the concert with my favorite song "Dreams", just like I wanted it to be...so it was perfect! M is for MOBY and MADONNA
If you don't have Moby's latest album, Play, there is definitely something wrong with you. This is one of the best albums I have ever heard...it's so enjoyable that you don't get tired of it. Featuring hits like "Porcelain", "Bodyrock", and "Natural Blues", it's no wonder it got nominated for two Grammys last February. Another talented artist whose "name" starts with the letter "M" is none other than the devilishly famous Madonna. She is definitely one of the best female artists ever to enter the music scene. She has so many hits, it's no wonder everyone knows her. From "Borderline" to "Beautiful Stranger", Madonna has gone a long way and has proved to be one of the most influential and important figures of the world. Nobody does it like Madonna; that's what makes her so unique! Visit two of the best Madonna webpages: MadonnaNet and MadonnaWeb.
