What Women Want

Mel Gibson stars along side veteren actress Helen Hunt in a comedy that goes where no mann has gone before, inside the head of women. Mel Gibson plays a self centered egotistical male who's only goals in life are to sleep with as many women as possible and to execel at his job. His womanizing ways are known by many and he is a feared "Alpha Male" until one day while trying on a pair of panty hose he is electracuted. The accident results in his ability to hear what women think. His first experiance with this is with his housekeeper who thinks about what a slob Gibson is and he hears this mistaking the thought for actual words. Mel goes to work with mixed feelings about his new power unable to decide if it is a comadey or a tragedy. Seeking some advice he goes to his ex-wifes shrink and proceedes to amaze her by quoteing a number in her head. She remadies this problem by sparking a joint. As if that wasent enough she advise Gibson to use this gift to his greatest enjoyment.

Gibson was throughy impressed with this conclussion and desides to go and try it out. A unsuspecting girl at his coffee bar agrees to go out with Gibson not realizing the power that the man posses. He takes her on a date and at the end ends up in her bedroom. He can hear what she want's and therfore is acording to the girl :"Ladies and Gentelmen _________(Gibson's character) is a sex god".

I was kinda disapointed with the whole story line, but it was a great chick flick so you might want to go and check it out. If I may I will take I-Rods system of rating movies. 8/10 for Mel say that he was gay. 5/10 for Mel wearing lip stick, panty hose, waxing his legs, and painting his nails. 8/10 for dancing to Franky Sinatra. 0/10 for going back to the coffee girls room. 2/10 for getting Helen at the end.(I could ahve told you that at the beggining of the movie). That equals 23/50. almost broke even. It was alright.
