rainbow of goodness 11 (cdr, zine and mini-comic from odd productions)
first off i have to say that this is one of the best looking cds i've gotten in a while, nice blue on blue silkscreen cover. and it sounds good too [astounding, isn't it?]. a very nice mix of artists including both of mark's projects [that'd be glass of juice and math]... actually now that i think about it most of the groups are PA residents:  sodium, street pole skinner, the new york and smoke group and of course mark himself; the only ones that aren't are a sonic deterrent, orators and myself [yeah, i am on it too..].  a pretty diverse grouping, although tracks to have kind of a similar
feel to them which give the disc a nice flow, something like that anyway. i'm not going to do a song-by-song description, but some tracks worthy of mention include 'subcutaneous relationship' by the new york and smoke group, an odd self-destructing technoish track, and 'king of the mustard dog,' which is just a nice instrumental track by street pole skinner. they're all pretty good though [although i'd say mine is definitely the least interesting.. ah well]. plus the zine itself, with interviews and art and all, PLUS a mini-comic by dan short. limited to 67, so get your copy quick.
