Aurelia Catalina - Catalina, or "Cat" for short - is the daughter of a wealthy businessman who just wants to have a good time. Her rich, doting father has always wanted to give his family the break they deserve, and they may finally be getting the chance.
For her eighteenth birthday, Catalina is given tickets on a plane to Jamaica, along with her family. But the best part is, they've rented a house along the beach, and they plan to spend the summer there. Catalina is in heaven as she and her best friend, Erica, embark on what they believe to be the greatest adventure of their lives.
But then the plane is forced to land when a storm hits, along with several other planes. And suddenly, Catalina finds herself face-to-face with pop sensation the Backstreet Boys, and she's really falling hard for Brian.
Then Catalina takes one fateful walk outside as the storm continues, and she and Nick somehow bond. What will happen to her now? And will their new-found relationship tear Nick and Brian apart?
