All Star United is currently working on new material. Right now the buzz word is "demos." All Star United is putting a lot into the new stuff and according to All Star's manager, "the results have been pretty impresive." We don't have a release date yet for the brand new album, but coming from ASU, I'm sure it will be well worth the wait!

4-30-00: CONGRATULATIONS TO IAN! There have been a LOT of rumors floating around about this. As of Tuesday, April 25th, All Star singer Ian became officially engaged to girlfriend Peggy. No wedding date has been set yet.

June 26th show in Bourbonnais, IL Cancelled! The promoter has cancelled the event that ASU was scheduled to perform at.

4-26-00: On Thursday, May 4th, All Star United is playing at the 12th & Porter in Nashville, Tn. It looks like everyone is going to get to enjoy this great show. The show will be webcast live on the net at www.Liveonthenet.com! All you need is a RealAudio G2 player (which is free to download at www.real.com) and you free access ticket. So, get ready for an amazing concert!

3-29-00: Yesterday evening I had the privelage of hearing the un-released asu CD. I have to say that the two new songs sound great! It sounds to me like they are going to be Smash Hits! I am including the list of songs to be included in the upcoming cd, "Smash Hits". There are two news songs, one remix and twelve original. Look for "Smash Hits" on May 23!

Straight from ASU's Manager about the two new songs, "Baby Come Back" and "Hang On".

The band wrote both new songs. "Hang On" is actually a song Ian wrote to his mother assuring her that she would be a grandmother one day, but that God hadn't brought the right woman into his life. It's hilarious (wait 'til you read the lyrics). "Baby Come Back" is just a goofy little love song that was never put on the "Anthems" record.

3-12-00: Tonight on ABC a disney made-for-TV movie called "Model Behavior" aired. During the movie, "Beautiful Thing" by ASU played! Yes!

3.10.00: "Smash Hits" will be released on May 23! Get ready to go get your copy!

All Star United is in the top 20 for the Glastonbury Festival! ASU has also gotten a hold of the agent that got Delerious to the festival last year, so they are going to have some help getting there.

2.17.2000: Essential Records will be releasing an album containing the best songs from ASU's self-titled CD and International Anthems For The Human Race and a few new songs including two remixes of previously recorded songs. The new album will be released this spring and will be titled "Smash Hits."
