below is me playing an open stage at the Jacaranda club in Liverpool on
May 04, 2000
This is probably the venue most associated with the Beatles after the
Cavern, but of course, the old Cavern is a parking lot now and the new one, while in an identical space next door,
is a replica. The Jacaranda still bears the wall paintings John and Stuart Sutcliffe's
art school class decorated it's walls with in the very early 60's, The stage, however,
has moved since the Beatles' day.
